Aug. 17
A Cheney Police Department radar trailer was damaged on the 800 block of Golden Hills Drive.
Theodore D. Denny, 39, was arrested for shoplifting on the 2700 block of First Street.
Taylor L. Stamm, 20, was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol on the 600 block of First Street.
Residential burglary was reported on the 800 block of West First Street.
A black bicycle was reported stolen on the 200 block of North Eighth Street.
Cheney's K-9 unit assisted in an arrest as part of a Washington State Patrol marijuana eradication deployment in Columbia County.

A 17-year-old female was arrested for fourth-degree assault and a 17-year-old male was arrested for second-degree assault on the 1200 block of First Street.
A blue bicycle was found on the 800 block of South Mullinix Road.
A blue bicycle was reported stolen on the 1800 block of Third Street.
Aug. 19
The unauthorized use of a debit card was reported on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.
A landlord-tenant dispute was reported on the 2200 of First Street.
Sports cards were found on the 400 block of Leinum Court.
Charles L. Clark, 22, was arrested on the 2200 block of North Sixth Street for DWLS.
Bobby L. Victor, 24, was arrested on the 2400 block of University Lane for trespassing.
Aug. 20
A set of keys was found on the 600 block of Fourth Street.
A silver bicycle was found on the 800 block of Salnave Road.
A vehicle slipped out of gear and rolled into another vehicle- both vehicles were unoccupied. Damage was done to a garage door on the 100 block of Blackhawk Lane.
A two-vehicle, non-injury hit and run occurred on the 2700 block of First Street.
Aug. 21
Taylor A. Sweringen, 19, was arrested on the 500 block of Cambridge Lane for taking a vehicle without the owners' permission.
Justin D. Combs, 25, was arrested for harassment on the 700 block of West First Street.
A landlord-tenant dispute that occurred in Coeur d' Alene was reported at the Cheney Police Department.
Melissa A. Wright, 30, was arrested for domestic violence-related assault on the 2300 block of University Lane.
A silver BMW was taken without the owners' permission on the 100 block of Blackhawk Lane.

A silver ring was found at the Cheney Police Department.
MEDICAL LAKE
Aug. 15
Police contacted the victim of a vehicle theft on the 300 block of East Frederick Avenue. Their gray-green 2005 Mazda 6 was taken. The owner said that they had left the key in the vehicle.
A male complainant reported malicious mischief on the 200 block of South Hallett Street. He said that a group of three female juveniles damaged some handicap signs in St. John's Lutheran Church parking lot, and sound ed intoxicated. A deputy arrived and counseled them on the issue and had them repair the sign.
A female complainant reported an attempted burglary on the 300 block of North Washington Street. She said that an unknown male was trying to break into her apartment, and she believed he had a weapon. When officers arrived, she said he ran toward the high school. One juvenile name was checked.
Aug. 16
A male complainant reported malicious mischief coming from East Campbell Street and South Lefevre Street. He said that two male teenagers were throwing rocks at the bathroom of the baseball field. Both males were trespassed from the park and their parents were notified, though the teens denied being at the field.
A female complainant called regarding arson on West 4th Avenue and Maple Street. Near a bicycle path, an officer found seven teenagers attempting to light grass on fire with a lighter. No arrests were made, and the situation was cleared.
Aug. 17
A female complainant reported a theft on the 100 block of South Washington Street. She said that all four tires and wheels were taken off of her car during the night. Officers took a report at the scene.
Officers served Douglas G. Dahlin, 50, with a warrant arrest on the 800 block of West Maple Street. He was arrested on a warrant for failure to register as a sex/kidnap offender.
Officers stopped a 2006 Chevy Aveo on North Graham lane and East Highway 902. A 47-year-old male received a nonhazard infraction.
Aug. 18
A male complainant reported malicious mischief on the 200 block of East Barker Street. He said some males were damaging things under the bleachers at the football field, although his information was third-party by that point. He had no descriptions of the males. Police contacted three found under the bleachers and passed on information to the day shift to look for damage.
Aug. 19
Police stopped a 1996 Jeep Cherokee on Lake Street and Walker Street. Timothy D. Robinson, 28, received an infraction for using a cellphone while driving.
Police stopped a 1987 Subaru UL on West James Street and North Jefferson Street. Cory J. Davis, 20, received a citation for failing to signal and failure to show proof of insurance.

An adult male was arrested for third-degree theft – shoplifting - on the 12000 block of West 14th Avenue.
Officers took a burglary report on the 11000 block of West 21st Avenue.
An adult female was arrested for third-degree DWLS on 6th Avenue and King Street.
An adult male was arrested for third-degree DWLS on 18th Avenue and Lawson Street.

An adult male was arrested for third-degree DWLS on Highway 2 and Ziegler Street.
An adult male was arrested for reckless endangerment on the 600 block of South Aspen Place.
Officers took a report of an attempted suicide on the 12000 block of West 21st Avenue.
Officers took a report of first-degree theft on the 13000 block of West McFarlane Road.
An adult male was arrested for DWLS on Highway 2 and Ziegler Street.

Officers took an animal complaint report on the 600 block of South Lundstrom Street.
An adult male was arrested on a DOC warrant on the 12000 block West of 8th Avenue.

An adult female was arrested for fourth-degree assault - domestic violence - on the 12000 block of West Pacific Avenue.
An adult female was arrested for third-degree theft – shoplifting - on the 12000 block of West 14th Avenue.
Aug. 22
Officers took a report of a domestic dispute on the 13000 block of West 6th Avenue.
