(L-R): Former EWU Eagles Matt Nichols, Greg Peach and J.C. Sherritt are all in training camp for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League. Peach is a 2-year starter at defensive end. Nichols, a quarterback, was signed to a contract in this winter and Sherritt, a linebacker who agreed to a deal in April, are both attempting to earn spots on the team. All are expected to see action in Edmonton's first pre-season game Friday in Regina against the Saskatchewan Rough Riders. Peach and Sherritt are both Buck Buchanan Award winners as the best defensive players in Football Championship Subdivision football. Peach won in 2008 and Sherritt in 2010.
