Thomas Patrick O'Neill, born August 8, 1951, passed from this world on Friday, April 22, 2011, at sunset, at home with loved ones.
He was a resident of the Cheney area since 1973. Tom was a warm, loving, generous, creative free spirit who touched the hearts of so many. His motto was “share to live and live to share,” and he took every opportunity to perform random acts of kindness, always ready with a smile or hug and eager to help friends and strangers alike.
He was idealistic, intelligent, ingenious, cared greatly about his impact on the earth, and always strove to “walk his talk.” His unique and beautiful soul was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by countless family and friends.
His family hopes that all who were inspired by his life carry on his legacy and memory by making the world a better place in their own simple, unique ways.
May there be wind in his wings, and a rainbow under his feet.
A celebration of his life will be held in August, in the sunshine he loved.
