Police reports: 3/014 to 3/21

CHENEY

March 14

Jonathon M. Cantu, 19, was arrested at the 300 block of Betz Road on a local warrant for possession of stolen property.

Cody E. Gilliams, 22, was arrested on the 700 block of West First Street for violation of a no-contact order.

Prescription medications were stolen from a vehicle on the 700 block of West First Street.

A fence post was stolen from the 2200 block of First Street.

Damage to a vehicle was reported on the zero hundred block of North Sixth Street.

A wallet was stolen from Cheney High School.

Prescription drugs and a wallet were stolen from a vehicle on the 3300 block of Thistle Creek Lane.

March 15

Damage to the inside of an apartment occurred on the 800 block of West First Street.

March 16

Damage to a gas meter occurred on the 200 block of North Fifth Street.

Damage to a sign with graffiti was reported on the 400 block of Fifth Street.

March 17

Domestic violence occurred on the 300 block of Erie Street. The suspect fled, and the incident was being investigated.

Lakeisha V. Hogan, 20, was arrested at the Municipal Court for a local warrant.

Reanasha A. McCord, 22, was arrested at Municipal Court for two Spokane District Court warrants.

Neil J. Didier, 23, was arrested at Cheney Municipal Court on a Spokane warrant.

Jasmine L. Hunter, 23, was arrested at the Municipal Court and committed for three outstanding warrants.

A hit and run collision occurred on the 1600 block of Second Street.

March 18

Possible child abuse neglect was reported on the 800 block of West First Street. The incident was referred to Child Protection Services.

Officers responded to a reported violation of a no contact order in the 700 block of West First Street. Melissa R. Chaney, 27, was arrested for obstructing a public officer. Cody E. Guilliams, 22, was also arrested for violating a no-contact order.

Graffiti and damage to a vehicle was reported on the 300 block of Erie Street.

March 19

Burglary was reported on the zero hundred block of First Street.

March 20

Prescription medications were taken from the 2400 block of University Lane.

A mental subject was voluntarily transported to the hospital from the 300 block of West First Street.

March 21

Residential armed robbery occurred on the zero hundred block of North Third. The incident was being investigated.

EASTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY

March 15

Police received a report of a verbal domestic dispute at Monroe Hall. Contacted both individuals. Incident reported by the female who was referred to the university advocate for assistance.

March 17

Malicious mischief was reported at the Phase Complex. Several signs had been spray painted with red paint. No permanent damage done.

A suspicious circumstance was reported on the 600 block of West Seventh at the Townhouse Apartments. A resident returned to her apartment in the morning and found the front door open with the dead bolt extended preventing closure. Resident was certain she had properly closed and locked the door.

While doing a driving under the influence (DUI) emphasis patrol an officer stopped a vehicle on the 1100 block of Washington for no taillights. Driver was cited for third degree driving while license suspended.

March 19

Gonzaga University security contacted EWU police about an intoxicated EWU student who had punched holes in a GU dorm room walls. EWU police filed a report and forwarded to the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities (OSRR).

Lost property was reported to university police. A citizen found a High Sierra backpack containing textbooks and calculators outside the University Recreation Center.

Eastern Washington University police have several laptop computers in their possession from a recent burglary investigation. Police are seeking the owners of those laptops to identify their property so it can be used in criminal proceedings against a suspect. If you have lost a laptop computer at the university please call 359-4021.

MEDICAL LAKE

March 14

Two juveniles were arrested at Medical Lake Middle School for minor in possession.

March 15

A female complainant on the corner of East Barker and North Stanley streets said four people in a car threatened to mug her. Police located the vehicle cited but lacked probable cause for any arrests.

March 16

A residential alarm on the 900 block of North Wilcox Street was deemed to have been tripped by the owner.

Police responded to a report of trespassing at the Medical Lake Skate Park but found nothing.

Johnathan J. Whitfield, 22, was arrested on a warrant for DWLS on the 800 block of East Barker Road. Police were responding to a domestic violence call at the address.

March 17

A vehicle reported stolen in December was found near the Medical Lake shooting range. Police said the vehicle had broken through a fence and was found with keys in the ignition at the bottom of an embankment.

Officers responded to Lakeland Village to assist in transporting a disorderly patient to the hospital.

Officers received a call concerning a domestic dispute on the 300 block of South Washington Street. A female was transported to her mother's house.

March 18

A skateboard was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 200 block of East Barker.

Police arrested Breeanna Sue Wilson, 27, for possession of methamphetamine following a hit and run accident at West Brooks Road and North Lefevre Street. Wilson was a passenger in the vehicle, which struck a sign.

March 19

Police received a report of theft from a resident on the 100 block of East Spence Street. A woman said she was unable to retrieve an air hockey table from the person who had sold her the item. An investigation is underway.

Domestic violence, verbal only, was reported on the 800 block of East Ryan Court.

Police arrested Jordan E. Demar, 19, in conjunction with the hit and run accident that took place at Brooks Road and Lefevre Street March 18. Demar was taken into custody for reckless driving, hit and run and obstructing an investigation.

Assault was reported on the 500 block of North Brower Street. No probable cause was found for an arrest.

A two-vehicle, non-injury accident was reported at East Kathy Lee Avenue and North Stanley Street.

A 52-year-old woman was contacted on the 500 block of North Brower Street after a resident there reported she had been repeatedly knocking on the door.

Police responded to reports of a suicidal subject on the 500 block of North Brower Street. A woman was voluntarily transported by ambulance to the hospital for an evaluation.

March 21

Police responded to a report of assault on the 500 block of North Brower Street. No probable cause was found.

A teacher at the middle school reported that a 14-year-old male student stole an iPod from the teacher's desk. The item was recovered and no charges were pursued.

March 16

Officers took a report of third-degree theft on the 12000 block of West 13th Avenue.

Officers took a report of a dangerous dog on the 12000 block of West 13th Avenue.

An adult female was arrested for third-degree DWLS on Craig Road and 12th Avenue.

March 17

An adult female and male were arrested for warrants on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.

An adult male was arrested for third-degree DWLS on 13th Avenue and King Street.

An adult female was arrested for third-degree DWLS on 13th Avenue and Lundstrom Street.

March 18

Officers took a report of a domestic dispute on the 1800 block of South Lawson Street.

Officers took a report of a suspicious person/circumstance on King Street and 13th Avenue.

An adult female was arrested for fourth-degree assault on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.

An adult male was arrested on a warrant for drugs out of Montana on the 1900 block of South Garfield Road.

Officers took a report of vehicle prowling on the 12000 block of West 14th Avenue.

An adult male was arrested for a warrant that occurred on the 12000 block of West 13th Avenue.

March 19

Officers took a report of fourth-degree assault at the Sunset Park basketball court.

Officers took a report of third-degree malicious mischief on the 13000 block of West Highway 2.

An adult male was arrested for third-degree DWLS on Sprague Avenue and Hayford Road.

March 20

Officers took a report of an agency assistance on the 1400 block of South Albert Street.

March 21

An adult male was arrested for a warrant from the Spokane County Sheriff's office on the 1300 block of South Ziegler Street.

An adult female was arrested for third-degree DWLS on Sprague Avenue and Russell Road.

An adult male was arrested for two warrants on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
