Eastern women break long drought with road win over Griz

It's first win for Eagles at Dahlberg Arena since 1987

Eastern Washington women's coach Wendy Schuller put her team's 71-63 victory over the Montana Lady Griz last Saturday at Dahlberg Arena in Missoula into both some historical and personal perspective.

Schuller was 10, the same age as her son Rory, when Eastern last won a regular season game at Dahlberg in 1980. She was a junior in high school in her hometown of Redlands, Calif. in 1987 when the Eagles upset the Griz in the conference tournament's championship game.
