The EWU/Cheney branch of S.C.O.P.E., Spokane County's Sheriff Community Oriented Policing Effort, elected new officers for 2011. Pictured above are left to right, president Enoch Lybbert, vice president Claudia Lowman, secretary Donna Read and treasurer Patricia Thomas. The EWU/Cheney branch made big strides in the work providing service for local law enforcement and the community under its 2010 leadership of president Ray Pendell, vice president Claudia Lowman, secretary Ivy Green and treasurer Donna Lybbert. The branch looks to continue that under the new leadership and is always looking for volunteers. EWU/Cheney S.C.O.P.E. meets monthly on the fourth Thursday at United Methodist Church, 204 Fourth St. at 6 p.m. For more information call the office message phone or Enoch Lybbert at 235-8851.
