In an effort to ensure Ninth District constituents can participate in her district-wide teleforum, which was scheduled for the same time as the president's State of the Union speech, Rep. Susan Fagan (R-Pullman) decided to re-schedule her district call. The telephone town hall was slated for Tuesday, Jan. 25, at 6:30 p.m.
Constituents will be alerted to the new date of the teleforum once it is re-scheduled.
“I truly value the feedback I receive from constituents in the telephone town halls, so it was a very difficult decision to cancel the call. When I learned of the timing conflict, I asked that our date be moved,” Fagan said. “I believe residents are equally engaged with both the state and national issues, so it makes sense to change my community teleforum to a future date that allows everyone a chance to listen to both.”
This was to be Fagan's third teleconference since winning her seat in a special election in 2009 to replace former representative Steve Hailey and the first since winning re-election to a normal two-year term in November.
