CHENEY

Jan. 10

Domestic violence was reported on the 1100 block of First Street—verbal only.

Residential burglary occurred on the 300 block of Sixth Street—damage was done to the inside of an apartment.

A mental subject was reported at the Cheney Police Department.

Police assisted Seattle Police by filing a report of unauthorized use of a debit card on the zero hundred block of North Seventh Street.

Jan. 11

A suicidal subject was voluntarily transported to the hospital from the 600 block of Elm Street.

Residential burglary occurred on the 1600 block of Second Street—damage was caused to an apartment and nothing was taken.

Illegal dumping was reported on the 1300 block of Third Street.

A runaway juvenile was reported at Cheney High School and the child was later located.

Theresa E. Landon, 24, was arrested for shoplifting at Ben Franklin.

Jan. 12

Residential burglary occurred on the 700 block of First Street—video games and movies were taken.

A two-vehicle non-injury collision occurred on the zero hundred block of Sixth Street.

Jan. 13

A vehicle was damaged on the 500 block of Fourth Street.

Food was taken on the 2700 block of First Street.

Police assisted EWU police on parking lot No. 3, taking a subject into custody for assault.

Jackie R. Muellner, 30, was arrested at the Cheney Municipal Court on a court commitment for driving under the influence.

Edward F. Ramey III, 25, was arrested on the 700 block of West First for violating a court-issued protection order.

Larry D. Oldhorn, 28, and Shelly R. Felsman, 22, were arrested for shoplifting on the 2700 block of First Street.

A 17-year-old male was arrested for harassment and intimidation on the 2700 block of First Street.

Jan. 14

The inside of a house was damaged on the 3300 block of Thistle Creek Lane—the incident was being investigated.

Police assisted Washington State Patrol on a two-vehicle non-injury accident on the 2000 block of First Street. One person was taken into custody.

Domestic violence was reported on the 1500 block of Third Street—verbal only.

A two-vehicle non-injury collision occurred on the 2000 block of Fourth Street.

Jan. 15

Byron E. Reed, 36, was arrested on the 2300 block of University Lane for violation of a court order.

A wallet was found on the 300 block of Third Street.

A rock was thrown through a car window on the 800 block of Elm Street.

Residential burglary was reported on the 700 block of First Street—nothing was taken.

Jan. 16

Levi M. Fox, 22, was arrested on the 3400 block of First Street for DUI, hit and run and reckless driving.

A side mirror was torn off a vehicle on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.

A 17-year-old female was arrested for domestic violence on the 400 block of Hampton Street.

Jan. 17

A car was egged on the 800 block of West First Street.

A sandwich board was taken on the 2800 block of First Street.

Residential burglary was reported on the 400 block of Irene Place—a computer and computer games were taken.

Assault was reported on the 1000 block of First Street.

A set of keys was found on the 900 block of Oakland Street.

Child molestation was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road—the incident was being investigated.

MEDICAL LAKE

Jan. 11

Police responded to a report of domestic violence on the 1300 block of South Lefevre Street, where a 75-year-old woman was having a civil dispute with her daughter and son-in-law. After an investigation the elderly woman was charged with fourth-degree assault.

Officers assisted a person who had fallen out of a wheelchair on the 900 block of North Howard Street.

Jan. 12

Police responded to an audible residential alarm on the 10600 block of West Jensen Road. Nothing was found.

Jan. 13

Domestic violence was reported on the 400 block of South Grove Road, verbal only.

Officers responded to a report of assault on the 1000 block of North Edna Street. Nothing was found.

Jan. 14

Officers attempted to serve a warrant on the 800 block of West Maple Street. Benjamin E. Stutzke, 32, was wanted on a felony warrant for residential burglary. He was not located at the address but later turned himself in at the police station.

Addendum Oct. 24, 2013: All charges were dismissed Jan. 26, 2012 by order of Spokane Superior Court Judge Annette S. Plese.

Jan. 15

Officers received a report from Spokane Police that a male assault victim was being treated at Sacred Heart Hospital after a bar fight in Medical Lake. No charges were ultimately filed.

A woman on the 400 block of East SR-902 reported her 16-year-old daughter had run away. The following day she called back to report the girl had come home safely.

Harassment was reported by a resident on the 1000 block of North Christopher Street, who said someone was repeatedly knocking on his front door and running away.

Jan. 16

An argument was reported on the 300 block of North Brower Street.

Police performed a welfare check near South Graham Road and West Medical Lake Highway. An intoxicated male was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

An argument was reported on the 11300 block of South Murphy Road.

Vehicle prowling was reported near Fir and Pine streets. A complainant said two males were attempting to break into cars in the parking lot of Martin Hall before leaving on foot. Eastern State Hospital security was advised.

Jan. 12

An adult male was arrested for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, on the 1900 block of South Lawson Street.

Jan. 13

Officers took a report of a suicidal subject on the 13000 block of West 6th Avenue.

An adult male was arrested on warrants for DWLS on Highway 2 and Garfield Road.

Officers took a report of forgery on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.

An adult male was arrested for third-degree DWLS on Lawson Street and 14th Avenue.

Officers took a report of an abandoned vehicle on 8th Avenue and Lawson Street.

Jan. 14

Officers took a report of second-degree theft on the 13000 block of West 6th Avenue.

An adult male was arrested on a warrant on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.

Susan L. Huston was arrested for felony forgery on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.

Jan. 15

An adult female was arrested on a warrant for third-degree DWLS on the 1500 block of North Post Street.

Jan. 16

Officers took a report of vehicle theft on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.

Officers took a report of Theft in the Third Degree that occurred on the 13000 block West of Highway 2.

An adult male was arrested for DUI on Highway 2 and Russell Street.

Jan. 17

An adult male was arrested for third-degree DWLS on Highway 2 and Garfield Street.

An adult female was arrested on a warrant on the 11000 block of West Sprague Avenue.

Officers took a report of fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, on the 1800 block of South Campbell Street.
