Ninth District Rep. Susan Fagan invites constituents to participate in community teleforum call Tuesday Jan. 25

With the 2011 legislative session underway Rep. Susan Fagan (R-Pullman) is inviting constituents to participate in a live telephone conversation with her the evening of Tuesday, Jan. 25 to discuss legislative issues.

The call will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. and last one hour. Constituents can participate by dialing 1-877-229-8493 and, when prompted, entering PIN number 15605. Once on the line, callers will be able to ask a question by pressing star 3 (*3) on their telephone keypads. Operators will assist callers to go “live” with Fagan during the tele-forum.

“I value my constituents' thoughts and ideas,” Fagan said in a press release. “Our district is among the largest in the state, and rather than asking residents to drive long distances in unpredictable road conditions to attend a local town meeting, constituents can conveniently join our ‘virtual town hall' from the comfort and privacy of their homes.”

At the end of the one-hour teleforum, anyone who stays on the line can leave a voice-mail message with comments or questions, which will be forwarded to her office.

“Even if residents cannot attend the call, I welcome e-mails, phone calls and letters,” added Fagan. “I want everyone in the district to know that I want their participation in state government. I look forward to a constructive two-way conversation on the issues facing the Ninth District and the state.”

Fagan's contact information can be located on her website at http://www.houserepublicans.wa.gov/Fagan.
