Nov. 22
Financial fraud was reported on the 800 block of West First Street. A woman reported that checks were stolen from her checkbook and written in her name. The incident is under investigation.
A gold ring with a clear stone was found by a student on the playground on the 300 block of North Seventh Street. The ring is at the police station waiting for its owner to identify it.
Theft of a laptop was reported from the 300 block of Fourth Street.
Nov. 23
Possible sexual assault was reported on the 2200 block of North Sixth Street. Cheney Care Center staff reported two Alzheimer's patients had sexual contact. The report was forwarded to DSHS and no charges were filed.
Domestic violence was reported in the 2300 block of University Lane—verbal only.
Theft of a computer and longboard from a car was reported in the zero hundred block of Third Street.
A vehicle was stolen in the 900 block of Golden Hills Drive. The owner left the vehicle running and went around the corner when he heard the engine rev and saw the vehicle driven away by an unknown white male. The vehicle is a white Chevy Silverado with Washington license plate B45629H.
Nov. 24
Officers took a courtesy report of an assault at the Exxon gas station on SR-904. The report was forwarded to Spokane County Sheriff's Office.
Ashley A. Mintz, 23, was arrested for DWLS on the 2700 block of First Street.
Shannon L. Rhoades, 47, was arrested for driving under the influence on the 2700 block of First Street.
Harassment was reported on the 2800 block of Al Ogdon Way. A parent said her juvenile female daughter was being bullied over the Internet. Officers contacted parents of the victim and suspect and they agreed to work it out without charges.
A snow thrower was reported stolen from the 900 block of West First Street.
A two-vehicle collision occurred in the 700 block of Chestnut Street. One of the drivers was pregnant and having contractions. She was taken to the hospital.
Nov. 25
Richard C. Babcock, 42, was arrested for driving while license suspended on the 1200 block of West First Street.
Tools were stolen from the 1500 block of Ridgeview Drive.
Officers responded to a call about a broken water pipe in an apartment building on the zero hundred block of Fifth Street. Water was flowing into an unoccupied apartment and after failing to contact the landowner, officers broke a window to enter the residence and turn off the water.
Nov. 26
Burglary was reported on the 400 block of Fifth Street. An XBox, laptop and iPod were stolen.
Theft of a doormat was reported on the 400 block of First Street. Initial checks of downtown cameras revealed nothing.
An abandoned 1998 black Chevy Camaro reported Nov. 18 was towed.
Nov. 27
Theft was reported in the zero hundred block of Cheney-Spokane Road. A DVD player was stolen and recovered. Kenneth J. Morris, 34, was arrested for the theft and released.
A two-car collision without injuries occurred on the 2200 block of First Street.

Nov. 28
Residential burglary was reported in the 200 block of Cheney-Spangle Road. A television and safe were taken.
Eric S. Laducer, 30, was arrested on a felony Department of Corrections warrant for escape from community custody after a traffic stop in the 3000 block of First Street.
Theft of an iPod and camera was reported in the 300 block of College Avenue.
A hit and run occurred in a parking lot on the 200 block of Betz Road.

Nov. 22
Officers took a disorderly conduct report on the 17500 block of West Bowie Road. A man said his father, who has dementia, was trying to leave in a vehicle.

Officers took a report of a traffic accident with injuries near Highway 904 and I-90.
Nov. 24
A fire alarm was reported on the 400 block of East Highway 902, where a large water leak was found in a residence.
Officers responded to an argument between two adult males at a residence on the 1000 block of East Campbell Street. No charges were filed.
Officers took a report of traffic collision with injuries near the 200 block of Salnave Road and I-90, where an SUV had rolled.

A fire alarm was reported on the 400 block of East Beverly Avenue. Nothing was found.
Nov. 26
Officers responded to a report of domestic violence on the 700 block of North Howard Street. A mother said her juvenile son was kicking and hitting others. The boy was transported to Deaconess Hospital for a mental evaluation.
Officers took a report of a suicidal subject on the 20800 block of South Mullinix Road.
Nov. 27
Officers responded to reports that a 60-year-old man was hitting the side of a travel trailer with a shovel on the 9000 block of West Sunset Highway. The property was deemed to be that of the subject.
A residential alarm was reported on the 300 block of North Broad Street. Nothing was found.
Nov. 28
Officers took a report of suicidal subject on the 10800 block of West Melville Road. A male was detained and transported to the hospital for a mental evaluation.
A juvenile runaway was reported on the 1000 block of South Lefevre Street. A mother reported her son had left the house after an argument and had not returned.

An argument was reported on the 500 block of East Campbell Street. A woman said her fiancé had grabbed her arm and pushed her.
