Police reports 9/27-10/05

CHENEY

Sept. 27

Kyle A. Hubly, 19, was arrested on the 400 block of Third Street on a Cheney Municipal Court warrant for minor in possession of alcohol, as well as an Ellensburg warrant for the same charge.

A carjacking was reported on the 700 block of West First Street.

An abandoned auto was reported in the 1600 block of Fifth Street.

A two-car, non-injury collision occurred on the 1000 block of Betz Road.

Sept. 28

Shoplifting occurred at the Cheney Trading Company.

Theft of cash was reported at Cheney High School.

A car-motorcycle collision occurred on the 1500 block of Washington Street. Minor injuries were reported.

Sept. 29

Possession of a controlled substance was reported on the 400 block of Irene Place.

Five were arrested on the 500 block of Annie Place. Arrested were: a 14-year-old male for harassment, a 15-year-old male for fourth-degree assault, a 16-year-old male for second-degree assault and Killiam W. Guild, 21, for harassment.

Sept. 30

An assault was reported at Salnave Elementary School. Investigating officers found no assault had occurred.

Sameul C. Bedford, 29, was arrested at Cheney Municipal Court for failure to appear on a local driving while license suspended (DWLS) warrant.

Steve A. Stone, 23, was arrested at Cheney Municipal Court for failure to appear on a Spokane DWLS warrant.

A two-car, non-injury collision occurred on the 100 block of Sixth Street.

Oct. 1

Luke J. Haupt, 18, was arrested for harassment at CHS.

Oct. 2

Military dog tags were reported found on the 400 block of Third Street.

Vien W. Lam, 22, was arrested for trespassing on the 900 block of Fifth Street.

Joel DeLaTorre, 20, was arrested for unlawful imprisonment—domestic violence—on the 2200 block of First Street.

Oct. 3

Possible child molestation was reported on the 2200 block of First Street.

Domestic violence was reported on the 1000 block of Betz Road—verbal only.

Domestic violence was reported on the 500 block of West First Street—verbal only.

Devon N. Powers, 19, was arrested for DWLS on the 700 block of Second Street.

Residential burglary was reported on the zero hundred block of North Third Street. An XBox and computer games were taken.

A wallet was reported found on the 1000 block of Betz Road.

Clifton Ford IV, 25, was arrested for DWLS on the 2800 block of Al Ogdon Way.

Theft of a skateboard was reported on the 200 block of Fifth Street.

Oct. 4

An abandoned auto, first reported Sept. 23, was towed from the 200 block of North Eighth Street.

MEDICAL LAKE

Sept. 29

An officer responded to the 1000 block of North Fox Ridge Road after a neighbor called to report a young boy was crawling on the roof of a vacant home and refused to get down. The youngster was gone when the officer arrived.

Oct. 1

An officer responded to a suspicious circumstance report at Medical Lake High School.

An officer responded to a suspicious person report at Medical Lake Elementary to find a mother speaking with her son through the playground fence.

An officer told a hitchhiker near Waterfront Park to move along.

Oct. 3

An officer responded to a suicidal subject on the 100 block of North Walker Road. A 26-year-old female was threatening to throw herself in front of a car. She voluntarily went to the hospital.

An officer responded to an audible alarm at the east wing of Medical Lake High School. Nothing out of the ordinary was found.

An officer responded to the intersection of Interstate 90 and Highway 902 after reports of a male sitting on the shoulder of the road and impeding traffic.

Oct. 4

An officer checked a vehicle parked in the trees near the 7100 block of South Brooks Road. The vehicle was determined to belong to the property owner.

A 911 hang-up call originating from the 2000 block of South Salnave Road was determined to be a misdialed number.

Sept. 29

Officers took a report of a traffic accident with injuries that occurred on the 13000 block of Highway 2.

Sept. 30

An adult female was arrested for third-degree DWLS that occurred at Highway 2 and Garfield Road.

An adult female was arrested for third-degree DWLS that occurred at Highway 2 and Lundstrom Street.

Officers took a report of possession of a controlled substance that occurred at Highway 2 and Hayford Road.

An adult male was arrested for third-degree DWLS that occurred at Highway 2 and Hayford Road.

Officers took a report of a traffic accident with injuries that occurred on the 13000 block of Highway 2.

Oct. 1

An adult male was arrested for four outstanding warrants and one bench warrant on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.

Officers took a report of vehicle prowling that occurred on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.

An adult male was arrested for vehicle theft that occurred on the 12000 block of West 14th Avenue.

An adult male was arrested for first-degree criminal trespass that occurred on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.

Oct. 3

Officers took a report of a missing child on the 1800 block of South Lawson Street.

Officers took a report of a hit and run accident that occurred on the 1900 block of South Garfield Road.

Oct. 4

Officers took a report of recovered stolen property that occurred on the 1900 block of South Mintle Street.

Oct. 5

An adult female was arrested for third-degree DWLS that occurred at Highway 2 and Hayford Road.
