Residential burglary was reported in the 800 block of Irene Place. An empty house for sale had the back door kicked in and a computer monitor was taken.
Financial fraud was reported in the 100 block of College Hill Street. An individual had taken a check from a friend and cashed it in Spokane. Investigation was ongoing.
A mountain bike was reported stolen in the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.
July 13
A truck was driving through the park in the 700 block of Cedar. The incident was referred to the prosecutor to decide whether to charge the 17-year-old driver with a traffic infraction.
A road-closed sign was reported lost after the Cheney Rodeo Parade in the 100 block of College Avenue.
A two-vehicle collision with one minor injury was reported in the 700 block of Fifth Street.
A one-vehicle, non-injury collision occurred in the 2600 block of First Street when the driver's foot got caught between pedals and the car went through the wall of the Conoco station.
July 14
Sean M. Conner, 19, was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and Jared P. Victor, 18, was arrested for minor in possession and domestic violence-related assault in the 1300 block of Third Street.
July 15
Michelle K. Pierce, 36, was arrested for shoplifting hair conditioner in the zero hundred block of Cheney-Spokane Road.
Keith T. Tenderholt, 21, was arrested at the Cheney Municipal Court on a Spokane Police Department warrant for failing to appear on a first-degree negligent driving charge.
July 16
Domestic violence was reported in the 2200 block of First Street – verbal only.

David B. Deponte, 26, was arrested for stealing an 18-pack of beer and for possession of prescription drugs that weren't prescribed to him in the 2300 block of First Street.
David B. Deponte, 26, was arrested on a no-bail Department of Corrections escape warrant out of Olympia in the 2200 block of First Street. Deponte was transported to county jail.
Theft of a mountain bike and muscle supplements was reported in the 700 block of Chestnut Street.
July 17
A two-vehicle accident with injuries occurred in the 1100 block of First Street. A vehicle stopped at a crosswalk was struck from behind by a second vehicle, driven by Nathan A. Holstad, 21.
Nathan A. Holstad, 21, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended in the 1100 block of First Street.
Theft of a computer was reported in the 500 block of Hampton Lane.
A report of a car being damaged by fireworks came from the 1700 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.
July 18
Ashley M. Beekman, 21, was arrested for domestic violence-related malicious mischief after she kicked in a door.
A birdbath was stolen in the zero hundred block of Third Street.
