Police reports 06/14 - 06/20

CHENEY

June 14

A multi-purpose tool was reported found on the Columbia Plateau Trail near Cheney-Spangle Road.

Officers responded to a report that someone was violating a court order in the 2400 block of University Lane, and didn't find evidence the order had been violated. The case was sent to the attorney for review.

Theft of mail was reported in the 500 block of Fourth Street. Officers are investigating the theft and other possible mail thefts in the area.

Theft of a car stereo, radar detector and subwoofers from a vehicle was reported in the 100 block of Greenbriar Lane.

Theft of a car stereo and a broken vehicle window was reported in the 3000 block of Normal Park Road.

Theft of a mountain bike was reported in the zero hundred block of A Street.

A vehicle was keyed in a parking lot in the 400 block of First Street.

June 15

Attempted burglary occurred in the 1900 block of First Street.

June 17

Jesse D. Twiggs, 19, was arrested on a court commitment for violating probation in the 600 block of Second Street.

Financial fraud was reported in the 1800 block of Fifth Street. Someone's credit card was being charged from another state.

Robert L. Barksdale, 19, was arrested in the 400 block of First Street for assault and criminal harassment.

A grain truck hit a railroad crossing arm in the 200 block of Cheney-Spangle Road. The truck driver said construction workers on the road waved him through and the arm lowered, catching on the back of the truck and coming loose from the pole. The arm was promptly reinstalled.

June 18

Domestic violence was reported in the 300 block of West First Street—verbal only.

Desi A. Lewis, 24, was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS) in the 1600 block of Washington Street.

Residential burglary occurred in the zero hundred block of Columbia Street. Prescription pills including anti-anxiety, bipolar and epileptic medications were taken.

June 15

An adult male was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the 14200 block of West Highway 2.

Officers took a report of theft that occurred at the 300 block of South Hayford Road.

Officers took a report of vehicle prowl that occurred at the 1200 block of South Garfield Road.

Officers took a report of theft that occurred at the 1000 block of Lundstrom Street.

An adult female was arrested on a warrant for third-degree theft in the 10800 block of West Highway 2.

An adult male was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the 10800 block of west Highway 2.

June 16

Officers took a report of theft that occurred at the 11300 block of West Willow Lane.

An adult male was arrested for second-degree DWLS in the 13400 block of West Highway 2.

An adult female was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the 100 block of North Hayford Road.

June 17

An adult male was arrested for second-degree DWLS in the 1400 block of South Mullen Road.

An adult female was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the 13000 block of West 13th Avenue.

An adult female was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the 1700 block of West Lawson Street.

An adult female was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the 100 block of North Hayford Road.

An adult female was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the 1200 block of West Lundstrom Street.

June 18

Officer took a report of a vehicle theft that occurred in the 3500 block of East Farwell Road in Spokane County.

An adult female was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the 13200 block of West Highway 2.

Officers took a report of theft that occurred at the 1000 block of South Lundstrom Street.

June 19

An adult male was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the 800 block of King Street.

Officers assisted Spokane Police in investigating a theft that occurred in Spokane in the 2000 block of South Craig Road. Case was forwarded to Spokane Police for follow up.

Officers recovered property that was found in the 1400 South block of Mullen Street.

Eric M. Anderson of Soap Lake was arrested for felony harassment (threats to kill) and residential burglary in the 13000 block of West 12th Avenue. He was booked into the Spokane County Jail.

June 20

Officer responded to a possible suicidal subject in the 1400 block of South Albert Street. A female was transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center for treatment.
