Former Eags Vijil, Meyer lead Shock to win

Three former Eastern Washington Eagles played big parts in last Saturday's Spokane Shock Arena League football win over the Utah Blaze.

Raul Vijil scored four touchdowns and led the team with 160 receiving yards as Spokane improved its record to 5-2 on the season and won for the second time this year against Utah.

Erik Meyer saw his first significant time at quarterback as toe former Eagle played the entire second half, completed 10-of-17 passes for 197 yards and four touchdowns.

Finally, fullback Harrison Nikolao scored on a 1-yard touchdown run that started the Shock on a run of six straight...
