CHENEY

May 17

A runaway juvenile was reported in the 200 block of North Sixth Street. A 15-year-old female was taken into custody and returned home.

A credit card was reported found in the 200 block of Washington Street.

Theft of an iPod from a vehicle was reported in the 1000 block of Third Street.

May 18

Kaneshia S. Brooks, 21, was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 600 block of West First Street.

Annoying/harassing phone calls were reported in the 2200 block of First Street.

A runaway juvenile was reported in the 100 block of Walker Drive.

Beth H. Payne, 28, was arrested for domestic violence-related assault in the 1500 block of Ridgeview Drive.

John M. Alva, 19, was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS) in the 2200 block of North Sixth Street.

Almaz Y. Ghebremichael, 22, was arrested for shoplifting at Ben Franklin.

A two-car non-injury accident occurred in the 100 block of Second Street.

May 19

A vehicle stolen from Spokane was recovered in the 700 block of Fifth Street.

Theft of a car stereo and CDs from a vehicle occurred in the 200 block of West Second Street.

Lauren D. Langenfeld, 45, was arrested for assault in the 2200 block of First Street.

Theft of a flash drive was reported at Cheney High School.

A gold-colored ring was reported found in the 100 block of West First Street.

A 17-year-old female was arrested for fourth degree assault on a school bus in Cheney.

May 20

An attempted suicide was reported in the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road. The subject was voluntarily committed.

Possible child abuse/neglect was reported in the 500 block of Salnave Road.

Brittney E. Theofelis, 18, was arrested for shoplifting in the 2700 block of First Street.

Residential burglary was reported in the 800 block of West First Street.

A car was damaged in the 1300 block of Third Street.

Heather L. Morris, 25, was arrested for malicious mischief—domestic violence—in the 2300 block of University Lane.

May 21

A blue bicycle, reported stolen to EWU police, was recovered in the 2700 block of First Street.

A runaway juvenile was reported from the 200 block of West Second Street.

A silver ring was reported stolen in the 100 block of West First Street.

Chelsea M. Pierce, 19, and Jaerd L. Balthazor, 18, were each arrested for possession of a controlled substance—marijuana—in the 200 block of West First Street.

May 22

Three individuals were arrested in a hit and run in the 300 block of Fourth Street. Dallas W. Lightner, 18, and Luis A. Rodas, 19, were each arrested for minor in possession of alcohol. Andrew M. Peterson, 20, was arrested for driving under the influence, hit and run, and minor in possession of alcohol.

Residential burglary occurred in the 2200 block of First Street. Video games were taken.

An 11-year-old male was arrested for domestic violence-related assault in the 700 block of West First Street.

Beth H. Payne, 28, was arrested for harassment/intimidation in the 1500 block of Ridgeview Drive.

Jeffrey D. Miller, 21, was arrested for assault in the 1700 block of Second Street.

May 23

Darryl L. Nutall, 22, was arrested for DWLS in the 1300 block of Second Street.

An attempted suicide was reported in the 2700 block of North Sixth Street. The subject was involuntarily committed.

A car window was damaged in the zero hundred block of Third Street.

A window screen was damaged in the 400 block of North Fourth Street.

Theft of shoes and clothes from a vehicle was reported in the 100 block of College Hill Street.

Micah T. Bockstruck, 22, was arrested for a hit and run in the 800 block of Oakland Street.
