For your contemplation: “The cup of life is the cup of joy as much as it is the cup of sorrow. It is the cup in which sorrows and joys, sadness and gladness, mourning and dancing are never separated. If joys could not be where sorrows are, the cup of life would never be drinkable. That is why we have to hold the cup in our hands and look carefully to see the joys hidden in our sorrows.” Henri Nouwen.

United Church of Christ

Let us welcome everyone to our 10 a.m. Sunday worship service and 11 a.m. fellowship hour. What an opportunity to get to know each other better and share our thoughts and experiences--even if it does fall on Memorial Day weekend! Since Christian education classes have ended for the summer, children may either stay with their family during worship or go to child care, available from 9:45 - 11:15 a.m. in the education building.

Please turn in your pledge for 2010-2011 to the church office, if you haven't handed it in yet. The Stewardship Committee needs all pledges ASAP to plan the budget for the annual congregational meeting to be held on June 13. Also, please get involved with our church by serving on a committee. Contact Troy Christenson or the church office to volunteer.
