Memorial Day is full of traditions, whether you attend a parade, a pancake breakfast or a family barbeque. This year, the Cheney Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 11326 asks residents to take an hour out of their holiday to honor two men—both Cheney citizens, students, husbands and fathers—who died while serving in the military.
The names of Army Chief Warrant Officer Clint Prather and Army Staff Sgt. Chad Caldwell will be engraved on the memorial at Veterans Memorial Park, located on Fourth Street between C and D streets.
