Blackhawks' golf teams return to action after break

The Cheney boys golf team returned to the links after a week off for spring break with a trip north to take part in Deer Park High School's Stag Invitational. The Blackhawks finished last out of 16 teams with 510 points, four back of Shadle Park High School's white team with 506.

Freshman Tyler Maurer led Cheney with a round of 92, followed by Cutter Kuwanda with a 95, Richi Perez a 102, Jay Anderson a 110 and Sean Thaut a 111. Deer Park's Mitch Rummer and Colville's Drew Cowbaugh both shot a 75 to tie for first.
