A two-car non-injury collision occurred in the 700 block of West First Street.
Steven S. Sheffels, 50, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended (DWLS) in the 200 block of Simpson Parkway.
A 14-year-old male was arrested for assault at Cheney Middle School.

Identity theft was reported in the 700 block of West First Street.
Feb. 24
Child abuse/neglect was reported in the 1900 block of Fourth Street. An investigation is pending.
A mental subject was reported in the 2300 block of Lilac Court.
Theft of garbage cans was reported in the zero hundred block of Fourth Street.
A 17-year-old female was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 600 block of Fourth Street.

Lharz M. Flanagan, 20, was arrested for a minor in possession court commitment at Cheney Municipal Court.
Child neglect was reported in the 1500 block of Ridgeview Drive. An investigation is pending.
Officers completed a community mental health standby in the 200 block of North Eleventh Street.
A wallet was reported found in the 200 block of Second Street.
Feb. 26
Steve A. Stone, 23, was arrested for DWLS in the 1300 block of First Street.
A loud party was reported in the 200 block of Seventh Street. The incident was referred to the court for infractions.
An abandoned auto was reported in the 200 block of A Street. A grey Ford Mustang was impounded.
An iPod was reported found in the 2800 block of First Street.
A 13-year-old male was arrested for indecent liberties in the 2700 block of North Sixth Street.
Theft was reported at Safeway and Cheney Trading Company. Western Union money orders were being wired between the two stores in an attempted scam.
Feb. 27
Lauryn T. Gallagher, 19, was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol in the 500 block of Villard Street.
An assault in the 300 block of Erie Street was pending investigation.
Marva J. Morehead, 40, was arrested for shoplifting at Cheney Trading Company.
Theft occurred in the 100 block of Greenbriar Lane. Ski equipment, sunglasses and a backpack were taken from a vehicle.
Feb. 28
Theft of a license plate from a vehicle occurred in the 300 block of West Third Street.
Theft of a GPS unit from a vehicle occurred in the 1100 block of Third Street.
Theft of sunglasses and tools from three different vehicles occurred in the 700 block of Cedar Street.
Theft of a motor vehicle was reported in the 100 block of West Fifth Street. Spokane police recovered the vehicle four hours later.

Feb. 20
Officers responded to the 1900 block of Lawson Street to serve court papers.
Police were called to the 1600 block of Lawson Street for an argument.
Officers assisted Spokane County Sheriff's deputies on an argument call in the 10600 block of 12th Avenue.
Police responded to the 100 block of North Hayford Road for a disorderly subject. The subject was trespassed from the property.
Officers assisted Kalispel Tribal Police with an uncooperative subject in the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
A female subject was arrested for third degree DWLS in the area of Sunset Highway and Garfield Road.
Officers assisted Cheney Police with a drive-by shooting call in the area of 2nd and College.
Police responded to an alarm in the 11500 block of 21st Avenue. Everything was determined to be OK.
Officers arrested two juveniles in the area of Garfield Road and Sunset Highway for third degree possession of stolen property.

Police investigated a report of a reckless driver in the area of Aspen Street and Whitetip Avenue.
Officers assisted a disabled motorist in the area of 11900 Sprague Avenue.
Police investigated a blocking collision in the area of Hayford Road and Sunset Highway.
Airway Heights officers participated in a child safety seat emphasis. Officers made over 77 contacts during the 34-hour emphasis.
Police responded to a report of an argument in the 800 block of King Street.
Officers investigated a report of a dog bite in the area of 1700 Lawson Street.
Police were called to the 12500 block of Frank Street for a domestic argument.
A male subject was booked into jail on three outstanding warrants from Spokane County. He was contacted on a traffic stop at Sunset Highway and Hayford Road.
Officers contacted three juvenile subjects attempting to trespass in a vacant house in the area of 1700 Lawson Street.
A juvenile runaway report was taken by officers in the area of 1800 Mintle Street.
Officers assisted Airway Heights medics on a call in the area of 900 Aspen Street.
A male subject was contacted by officers in the area of 12800 14th Avenue for fourth degree assault, domestic violence. He was booked into jail on the charge.
Feb. 22
Officers took a juvenile runaway report in the 12500 block of Frank Street.
Police responded to the 100 block of North Hayford Road to escort a disorderly subject off the property.
A male subject was arrested in the area of Sprague Avenue and Hayford Road for third degree DWLS. He was booked into jail on a Spokane District Court warrant for first degree negligent driving.
Officers investigated a report of a suspicious older red Toyota pickup cruising slowly around the area of 6th Avenue and Aspen Street.
Police were contacted by a citizen who reported harassing phone calls from a subject that had a no contact order. The subject was contacted and advised to not call.

Officers were asked to check the welfare of a citizen in the 12800 block of 13th Avenue. Everything was OK.
Police took a report of second degree theft from a business owner in the area of 12900 Sunset Highway.
Officers responded to a report of an argument in the area of 13th Avenue and King Street.
A male subject was arrested for a domestic violence order of protection violation that occurred in the 13900 block of 12th Avenue.
Police responded to the 100 block of North Hayford Road to investigate a report of two people arguing over a vehicle.
A male subject was arrested for third degree DWLS in the area of Sunset Highway and Ziegler Street.
Officers responded to the area of Sunset Highway and Lundstrom Street for a report of a beer theft.
Anthony W. Kilby, 37, was booked into jail on the felony charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. He was contacted on a traffic stop at Sunset Highway and Hayford Road.

A female subject was arrested at Sunset Highway and Garfield Road for second degree DWLS.
