Ramona passed away peacefully at her home in Cheney on Feb. 15, 2010 at the age of 77.
She was born April 26, 1932 in Spokane, Wash. and attended Mead High School. She married Ramon Tobler Jan. 27, 1951 and together they raised eight children in the Cheney-Medical Lake area. She is survived by her children Myron Tobler (Renee') of Colville, Wash., Kathern Melton (William) of Cheney, Leon Tobler (Debra) of Chewelah, Wash., Karey Splonski (Leonard) of Scotts Mills, Ore., Deborah Mackey (Wayne) of Deer Park, Wash., MonaRae Stewart (Greg) of Cheney, Cheryl Koon of Cheney, Marvin Tobler (Debbie) of Cheney, one brother, one sister, 39 grandchildren and 58 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Ramon Tobler in 2005, her parents, William and Opal (Smith) Holmes, a son, Raymond O. Tobler, and a great grandson.
A memorial service was be held on Saturday, Feb. 20, at Cheney Funeral Chapel. Pastor Claire Richards officiated. Cheney Funeral Chapel, Cheney.
