Eastern Washington University President Dr. Rodolfo Arévalo has named Stacey Morgan-Foster, JD, the new vice president for Student Affairs at EWU, a position she currently holds at California State University-Stanislaus.
Morgan-Foster emerged from a nationwide field of more than 62 candidates, and her expertise in critical areas such as student retention and development, as well as graduation programs, set her apart.
“Stacey Morgan-Foster has a broad understanding of student affairs and a clear grasp of what students need,” Arévalo said. Morgan-Foster is excited to be joining the EWU team and continuing the tradition of service and commitment to student success at the university.
“EWU offers an unparalleled educational experience for students at a high quality, comprehensive liberal arts institution with a strong focus on professional studies,” Morgan-Foster said.
Morgan-Foster is a graduate of George Mason University School of Law, and received her bachelor of arts at California State University, Sacramento. She replaces Dorothy Zeisler-Vralsted, who is focusing her efforts on teaching and research. Her appointment is effective April 1.
