An 11-year-old male was arrested for possession of stolen property, a cell phone, at Cheney Middle School.
A 12-year-old female was arrested for possession of alcohol at Cheney Middle School.
Officers responded to a report of domestic violence in the zero hundred block of Third Street. It was verbal only.
Theft of CDs and a case from a vehicle occurred in the 700 block of West First Street.
Domestic violence was reported in the 2300 block of University Lane. It was verbal only.
Theft of an iPod and textbooks from a vehicle occurred in the 200 block of West Third Street.
Officers assisted the Shoshone County Sheriff's Office in completing a malicious mischief report.
Feb. 2
A suicidal subject was reported in the 1200 block of First Street.
Feb. 3
A wallet was reported found in the 200 block of Cheney-Spangle Road.
Second degree burglary of sports equipment from a home was reported in the 700 block of West First Street. The goods were later recovered and police have a suspect, but the incident is currently pending investigation.
A green bicycle was reported found in the 2700 block of First Street.
A 16-year-old male was arrested for fourth degree domestic violence at Cheney High School.
Feb. 4
Theft of an iPod was reported at Cheney Middle School.
Theft of a CB antenna from a vehicle was reported at the Cheney High School.
A fourth degree domestic violence-related assault in the zero hundred block of Vine Street was referred to the prosecuting attorney for consideration of charges.
Feb. 5
A residential burglary occurred in the 200 block of Front Street. Computer equipment, computer games, cash and jewelry were taken from the home.
Feb. 6
An attempted suicide occured in the 2300 block of the Cheney-Spokane Road.
A blue 1996 Dodge Neon that appeared to be abandoned in the 200 block of West was impounded.
Theft of a pack of gum occurred in the 1100 block of First Street.
Simon G. Sorrensen, 18, was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol in the 100 block of Third Street.
Feb. 7
Malicious mischief was reported in the 200 block of Simpson Parkway after rocks were thrown at a vehicle.
Jeffrey J. Anderson, 22, was arrested in the 400 block of First Street on charges of fourth degree assault.
