Eastern Washington University dental hygiene students will be providing dental cleanings for kids and young adults (ages 5-18), Friday, Feb. 12, at the EWU Dental Hygiene Clinic at Riverpoint, 310 N. Riverpoint Boulevard.
Eagle Kids' Health Day is for Washington state residents who are under-served, low-income children who are not on DSHS, or do not have any other kind of dental insurance. Cleanings and dental exams, including x-rays, will be provided for $10 per child. The Health for All organization will be on hand to enroll children in the Apple Care program. There are also some fun activities planned, including a visit from the Tooth Fairy.
Those interested must call 509-368-6539 and make an appointment, which will be scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
