CHENEY

Dec. 3

A 12-year-old female and a 13-year-old female were both arrested for harassment in a previously reported incident at Cheney Middle School.

Dec. 7

A suicidal individual was reported in the 200 block of North Eleventh Street. The subject was transported to the hospital.

An 11-year-old male was arrested at Cheney Middle School for possessing a knife on school property.

Dec. 8

Theft of a white bicycle was reported in the 400 block of Second Street.

A suicidal subject in the 100 block of West First was taken into custody and later transported to the hospital.

Dec. 9

Abel K. Gebrehiwet, 21, was arrested for fourth degree domestic violence-related assault in the 3000 block of Silverthorn Lane.

Shane A. Hill, 20, was arrested in the 600 block of Third Street for discharging a weapon inside the city limits.

Theft of a digital camera was reported at Cheney High School.

Dec. 10

A tree was reported damaged in the 1200 block of First Street.

Officers assisted Spokane County Sheriff's deputies in a driving under the influence (DUI) report. The incident occurred outside city limits on Curtis Road.

Officers assisted Spokane Municipal Court in arresting Robert E. Lubin, 19, on a warrant for third degree driving while license suspended (DWLS) at Cheney Municipal Court. Lubin also received a commitment from Cheney Municipal Court.

Dec. 11

Forgery was reported in the 100 block of West First Street.

Online identity theft was reported in the zero hundred block of Second Street.

Alisha A. Pajimola, 19, was arrested in the 2200 block of North Sixth Street for third degree DWLS.

Dec. 12

Daniel S. Jacobson, 27, was arrested for first degree assault and unlawful imprisonment, both domestic violence-related, in the zero hundred block of Second Street.

Dec. 13

A wallet was reported lost at the police department.

Dec. 7

Officers were sent to the 800 block of Campbell Street for a welfare check. No one was home.

Police responded to the 11900 block of Sprague Avenue to take a hit and run collision report.

Officers assisted Spokane County deputies serving an arrest warrant in the area of 1100 South Fairview Heights.

Police assisted the Airway Heights Fire Department on a medics call in the 12400 block of Frank Avenue.

Dec. 8

Police contacted a suspicious person walking with two bags in the area of Frank Avenue and Campbell Street late at night.

Officers responded to the area of 13th Avenue and West Street to investigate a report of a prowler.

Police investigated a report of a commercial burglary in the 11900 block of Sprague Avenue.

Officers were requested in the 10800 block of Sunset Highway to take a stolen vehicle report.

Police investigated a report of suspicious circumstances in the 13900 block of 12th Avenue. There was no evidence of a crime.

Nancy M. Guerrero, 22, was arrested for DWLS third degree in the area of Sunset Highway and Campbell Street.

Dec. 9

Officers assisted Kalispel Tribal Police investigating a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of North Hayford Road.

Police assisted the Airway Heights Fire Department on a fire call in the 12600 block of 10th Avenue.

Officers tagged an abandoned vehicle to be removed in the 1900 block of Lawson Street.

Police investigated a commercial burglary in the 11900 block of Sprague Avenue.

Robert M. Rabaglia, 27, was booked into jail for assault fourth degree – domestic violence that occurred in the 1400 block of Albert Street.

Officers investigated a report of a vehicle theft that turned out to be a repossession in the 13400 block of 12th Avenue.

Police assisted Spokane County deputies on a domestic dispute in the 2500 block of South Geiger Boulevard.

Officers responded to a vehicle collision in the area of Sunset Highway and South Hayford Road.

Holly R. Sherwood, 28, was arrested at Sunset Highway and Hayden Road for DWLS third degree and refusal to cooperate with and officer.

Dec. 10

Ronald D. Brotherton, 48, was booked into jail on a Spokane warrant for DWLS third degree.

Brewster C. Handley, 22, was contacted by officers in the area of Sunset Highway and Garfield Road and booked into jail on a Spokane Municipal Court warrant for malicious mischief third degree.

Officers assisted Spokane County deputies on a residential alarm in the 17600 block of West Boone Avenue.

Police investigated a two vehicle collision in the area of Lawson Street and 18th Avenue.

Sergio Gonzalez, 26, was arrested in the area of Lawson Street and 18th Avenue for DWLS third degree.

Officers investigated a report of a prowler in the 600 block of Lawson Street.

Police were sent to the 2000 block of South Craig Road to investigate a 911 hang up call.

K-9 Unit responded to the 11800 block of Center Avenue to search a vehicle stopped by Spokane County deputies. Methamphetamine was located in the vehicle.

Dec. 11

Officers investigated a report of mail theft in the 1900 block of Garfield. A copy of the report is to be forwarded to US Postal Inspectors.

Police followed up on a complaint of noise in the 2000 block of South Craig Road.

Officers contacted a suspicious vehicle in the area of Sunset Park after park hours.

Dec. 12

Police were called to the 12500 block of 20th Avenue for an argument.

A citizen contacted officers to advise he was contracted to clean up residences in the area of 19th Avenue and Campbell Street.

Police responded to an alarm in the 100 block of North Hayford Road. It was a false alarm.

Officers investigated a report of subjects using drugs in a parking lot in the 12000 block of Sunset Highway.

James E. Lowther, 50, was contacted by officers in the 100 block of North Hayford Road and booked into jail as a fugitive from justice. He had three felony warrants out of California.

Police assisted Spokane County deputies on a traffic collision in the area of Sunset Highway and Garfield Road.

Dec. 13

Officers assisted Spokane County deputies in the area of Lake Street and Lefevre Street in Medical Lake on a fight call.

A report of a possible DUI was investigated by officers in the area of Sunset Highway and Garfield Road.

Officers assisted Spokane County deputies serving a warrant in the 2200 block of North Craig Road.

Police responded to the 13300 block of Sunset Highway for a fight.

Officers investigated a report of an assault that occurred in the 12500 block of 2nd Avenue.
