CHENEY

Nov. 30

A fourth degree assault was reported in the 3200 block of Meadow Glenn Lane.

A vehicle prowl was reported in the 100 block of Second Street.

Malicious mischief was reported in the 800 block of West First Street. Properties were marked with spray paint.

A two-car accident occurred in the 1400 block of Washington Street. Minor injuries were reported.

Dec. 1

Harassment was reported in the 300 block of Erie Street.

Malicious mischief occurred in the 1500 block of Washington Street. Windows were broken on a vehicle.

A two-car, non-injury accident occurred in the 100 block of West First Street.

Dec. 2

Third degree theft was reported in the 2400 block of University Lane. Medications were taken from a residence.

Officers responded to a domestic violence call in the 1500 block of West First Street, verbal only.

Gary D. Grove, 62, was arrested in the 800 block of Oakland Street for third degree driving while license suspended (DWLS) and on a Spokane County warrant for failing to appear on a driving under the influence (DUI) charge.

A forgery was reported in the 2200 block of First Street. Checks were forged.

An unlawful trespass was reported in the 3200 block of Meadow Glenn Lane.

Dec. 3

Chene R. Cooper, 19, was arrested in the zero hundred block of North Fourth Street for third degree DWLS.

Harassment was reported at Cheney Middle School. The incident is under investigation.

Ellinore A. Sherwin, 21, was arrested in the 200 block of Betz Road for third degree DWLS.

Dec. 4

Officers responded to a call reporting residential burglary in the 400 block of I Street. Nothing was taken; the residents came home to find a stranger in their home, who fled.

Third degree malicious mischief occurred in the 800 block of Second Street. Windows were broken on a vehicle.

Theft of cash from a purse was reported in the 400 block of First Street.

Theft of an electrical meter was reported in the 1100 block of Second Street.

James M. Saetre, 21, was arrested for fourth degree assault in the 900 block of First Street after a fight broke out involving 6-7 people.

Dec. 5

Harassing phone calls were reported from the 800 block of West First Street.

Malicious mischief was reported in the 500 block of First Street when someone threw a billiard ball at a window, damaging it.

Officers responded to a call reported of an intoxicated male attempting to get in a vehicle and drive. The subject was given a ride home.

Dec. 6

An individual came to the police department claiming to be suicidal. The subject was voluntarily transported to the hospital.

Nov. 30

Officers assisted Spokane County Deputies with an unwanted guest in the 300 block of South Staples.

Police assisted Airway Heights Fire Department on a medics call in the 12800 block of 14th Avenue.

Officers responded to the area of 21st Avenue and Hayford Road for a cell phone 911 hang-up call.

Police responded to the 700 block of Beeman Street for an argument on a civil matter.

Officers assisted Kalispel Tribal Police trespassing an intoxicated subject from the 100 block of North Hayford Road.

Teresa J. Jones, 41, was arrested at 100 North Hayford Road for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). She was booked into Spokane County Jail on the charge.

Dec. 1

Police investigated a report of harassment in the 13900 block of 13th Avenue.

Officers investigated a report of a stolen vehicle in the 1300 block of South Craig Road.

Police responded to an alarm in the area of 12600 West Pacific Court.

Officers were called to the 12500 block of 21st Avenue for a domestic dispute.

Police assisted Spokane County deputies on a suspicious vehicle call in the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.

Dec. 2

Officers contacted a suspicious person in the area of 12th Avenue and Beeman Streets.

Police assisted Spokane County deputies on a vehicle pursuit that ended in the area of Highway 2 and Ritchie Road.

Officers investigated a report of a juvenile assault that occurred in the area of 18th Avenue and Lawson Street.

Police investigated a report of a contractor's vehicle parked in the shadows in the area of 12400 Pacific Avenue.

Dec. 3

Police tagged an abandoned vehicle for towing in the area of Russell Street just south of 9th Avenue.

Rick Marks, 49, was arrested in the 100 block of North Hayford Road for assault fourth degree.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of South Hayford Road to assist Spokane County deputies with a theft call.

Hylton D. Pennington, 48, was arrested for criminal trespass first degree in the 100 block of North Hayford Road.

Police were called to the area of 1400 South Albert Street for a noise complaint.

Dec. 4

Officers were called to the 11900 block of West Sprague Avenue to take an inmate complaint.

Police were sent to the area of 13200 12th Avenue for a welfare check. Everything was OK.

Officers responded to the 12500 block of 21st Avenue and the 2000 block of South Craig Road for complaints of loud music.

Police assisted Kalispel Tribal Police in the 100 block of North Hayford Road by trespassing a subject from the property who had shoplifted.

Dec. 5

A burglary in the 2000 block of South Craig Road was investigated by officers.

Chamellia R. Graham, 19, was arrested in the 12800 block of 14th Avenue for theft third degree – shoplifting.

Brandon R. Graham, 20, was arrested for conspiracy to commit theft third degree – shoplifting in the 12800 block of 14th Avenue.

Officers assisted Spokane County deputies with an unwanted guest in the 3800 block of Geiger Boulevard.

Police responded to a residential alarm in the 12400 block of 2nd Avenue. It was found to be false.

Dec. 6

Officers were called to the area of 12700 Sunset Highway for a commercial alarm. All was secure.

Police assisted Spokane County deputies with a suicidal subject in the 3800 block of Geiger Boulevard.

A suspicious person in a vehicle was contacted by officers in the 100 block of North Hayford Road.

Patrick J. Brown, 23, was arrested for driving while license suspended third degree in the area of Hayford Road and Sunset Highway.

A suspicious vehicle parked in the area of Craig Road and Sunset Highway was investigated by officers.

Police responded to the 100 block of North Hayford Road to assist drivers involved in a parking lot collision with exchanging information.

Officers investigated a report of a residential burglary in the 1100 block of Beeman Street.
