Police reports 11/16 through 11/22

CHENEY

Nov. 16

A vehicle was keyed in the 600 block of Fifth Street. Patrick J. Schroeder, 19, was arrested for second degree malicious mischief.

Kyle S. Coryat, 22, was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS) in the 2500 block of North Sixth Street.

A 12-year-old male student was arrested at Cheney Middle School for possessing a weapon on school property. He had a folding knife.

The theft of a car stereo was reported in the 500 block of Cambridge Lane.

The theft of a wallet and car stereo from a vehicle was reported in the 200 block of Betz Road.

Nov. 17

Samuel J. Thomas, 20, was arrested in the 1000 block of Second Street for third degree DWLS.

Financial fraud was reported in the 2800 block of Oxford Lane. A credit card was used without authorization.

A suspicious circumstance was reported in the 2700 block of North Sixth Street when students left the Cheney Middle School without permission.

A vehicle that was reported stolen Nov. 4 was recovered in the zero hundred block of B Street.

Nov. 18

Verbal domestic violence was reported in the 1100 block of First Street.

Officers responded to a report of possible child abuse and neglect in the 200 block of West Second Street. Information was passed on to Child Protective Services.

Third degree theft was reported in the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road. A purse and digital camera were stolen.

The theft of an iPod was reported at Cheney High School.

Verbal domestic violence was reported in the 700 block of Montague Drive.

Nov. 19

A black wooden statue was stolen from the 400 block of Fern Street.

Domestic violence was reported in the zero hundred block of Vine Street. Marva J. Morehead, 40, and Mathew F. Hobbs, 38, were both arrested for fourth degree domestic violence-related assault.

A possible suicidal subject in the 600 block of Villard Street was taken voluntarily to Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Theft of a backpack and a GPS from two vehicles was reported in the 100 block of College Hills Road.

Nov. 20

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 2200 block of First Street.

A cell phone was reported found in the 200 block of Third Street.

Malicious mischief was reported in the 100 block of Fourth Street. The locking mechanism on a vehicle was broken.

Theft of a blue bicycle was reported in the 300 block of College Avenue.

An unattended hit and run was reported in the 500 block of Third Street.

Nov. 21

Ian W. Campbell, 39, was arrested for harassment in the 500 block of Salnave Road.

Trespassing was reported in the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.

Nov. 22

A 12-year-old female was arrested for shoplifting in the 100 block of West First Street.

Residential burglary was reported in the 700 block of West First Street.

A 16-year-old male was arrested in the 300 block of North Third Street for fourth degree domestic violence-related assault.

Theft of a barbeque cover was reported in the 200 block of Cedar Street.

Jessica M. Swan, 19, was arrested in the 300 block of Fourth Street for minor in the possession of alcohol.

A two-car non-injury accident occurred in the 700 block of Fifth Street.
