Robert, 47, passed away Nov. 12, 2009 in Spokane, Washington surrounded by family and friends from complications of diabetes. He was born Oct. 4, 1962 to Joseph and Marilyn Curry in Mountain Home, Idaho. Robert graduated from Cheney High School in 1982. Robert owned and operated Cheney Muffler Complete Automotive from 2000 to 2005. Roberts's greatest loves were his friends and family.
His passions were NASCAR, cooking, camping, hydroplane boat races, his motorcycle and boat. He loved fishing, motorcycle trips, and working on cars. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Allison, daughter Jennifer, son Matthew, and future son-in-law Drew Hampton. He leaves behind his mother Marilyn Curry; brothers Fred, Pat, Jay, and Paul Curry; step-mom LeeAnn and sister Sarah Curry. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Curry in 2005. He is survived by his sisters-in-law Ellen Lane, Cheryl Curry, Kathy Curry, Becky Curry, and Cindy Curry; his brothers-in-law Steven Osweiler and Craig Lane and his in-laws Kathy Osweiler, Dennis Osweiler and Sonia Osweiler. He is also survived by many well-loved nieces, nephews and long-time friends. A memorial service was held at Cheney Funeral Chapel Tuesday Nov. 17, 2009 at 3 p.m. Reception to immediately follow at United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall, 423 N. Sixth St., Cheney, WA.
