Area military members were honored during a Veterans Day program Nov. 10 at Cheney Middle School. Students presented each veteran with a rose to show appreciation for their service. Pictured (L-R) are Beth Valentine, whose husband Jim served in Korea. Others in the photo include Bill Whitehall, Jim Delano, Roger Hagenbuch, and Bill Beavers. All four were Vietnam War vets from Cheney VFW Post 11326 which provided a color guard for the ceremony.
