After eight months without a home, Cheney Historical Museum moves into new downtown location

A once empty storefront at 420 First St. is now home to the Cheney Historical Museum after eight months of displacement.
It's a temporary home, but certainly better than the alternative for museum director Joan Mamanakis.
“We're very grateful to be able to get the collection into an environmentally secure place,” she said. “But we're really excited to be on First Street.”
