Higher than average growth rate could add more than 3,000 new residents over the next 20 years

Residents, topic group members and city officials gathered to begin the long process of drafting a new Cheney comprehensive plan at a workshop Sept. 30.
The plan, titled “Choices for Cheney,” is supposed to guide the city's vision over the next 20 years and is still in the planning stages.
