Donald White

Donald White, 77, passed away Sept. 16, 2009. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Lilia White of 34 years; survived by six children from his first marriage, Larry, Evelyn, Neil, Bill, Florence, and Vera White and two children from Lilia, Laura White-Nieto and Victor Garchitorena. Don worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service from 1958-1988. He was a manager at Turnbull Wildlife Refuge. He also served in the U.S. Air Force from January 1951 to October 1954. He was a former commander of the American Legion Post #72 in Cheney. He didn't want a funeral but instead wanted his friends and family to celebrate his life. He is laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Cheney.
