Police were informed of a runaway juvenile. The subject returned home.
Second-degree theft of a wallet was reported on the 1700 block of Seventh Street.
Possession of a weapon was reported at Cheney High School. A 16-year-old male had a knife at school.
A suspicious circumstance was reported on the 1000 block of Salnave Road. Salnave Elementary staff handled a student with a laser pointer.
Sept. 15
An abandoned vehicle was reported on the 300 block of Buena Vista Street. The 1999 silver Ford Escort was impounded.
Police completed a warrant arrest for another agency on the 100 block of College Hill. Deondre E. James, 26, was arrested for failure to respond to a Spokane warrant for third-degree driving while license suspended.
Sept. 16
Verbal domestic violence was reported on the zero hundred block of B Street.
Police responded to a report of fourth-degree assault. The incident occurred on a school bus just outside the city and was handled by the school.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 500 block of Cambridge Lane. A wallet and purse were taken from a vehicle.
Sept. 17
Luis E. Galvan, 28, was arrested for felony attended hit and run with injuries on the 1900 block of First Street.
A two-car collision occurred on the 100 block of North Eighth Street. There were no injuries.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 1200 block of First Street. The subject was arrested Sept. 18.
A blue bicycle was reported found on the 1900 block of Fourth Street.
Third-degree theft was reported on the zero hundred block of North Seventh Street. A mailbox was stolen.
Officers completed a warrant arrest for another agency on the 600 block of Second Street. Corey A. Ward, 19, was arrested for two warrants out of Spokane Municipal Court: failure to appear for third-degree DWLS and failure to appear for possession on marijuana.
Sept. 18
Police arrested Tyrone W. Potter, 24, on the 2400 block of First Street for possession of marijuana.
A 14-year-old female was arrested at Cheney High School for minor in possession of alcohol.
Officers completed an arrest on a lewd conduct warrant from Spokane. Eric G. Arnst, 46, was arrested on the 1200 block of First Street for the outstanding warrant and for third-degree malicious mischief, committed Sept. 17 at the same location.
Sept. 19
Anthony M. Johnson, 18, was arrested on the 100 block of West Third Street for minor in possession of alcohol.
Harassment was reported on the zero hundred block of Cheney-Spokane Road.
Sept. 20
Third-degree theft was reported on the 1600 block of Third Street. Tools were taken from a vehicle.
Officers responded to a domestic violence call on the 300 block of Erie Street. Dustin A. Smith, 22, was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence).
Sept. 21
Third-degree theft of cash was reported from the 200 block of Cheney-Spangle Road.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 300 block of Betz Road. Wires were pulled from a telephone box.
A rape was reported on the 700 block of West First Street.

Sept. 14
An officer responded to the 200 block of East Baker Street on the report of a juvenile problem.
An officer responded to the 1000 block of Olson Hill Court on the report of a possible harassment.
Sept. 15
An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of South Hallett Street on the report of a reckless burning.
Sept. 16
Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of North Howard Street to assist Child Protective Services.
Sept. 17
An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of North Hallett Street on the report of a possible assault.
Sept. 18
An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of South Jefferson Street after report of a theft. The suspect, 18-year-old James R. Gray of Spokane was arrested for third degree theft and obstructing a law enforcement officer.
Sept. 19
An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of East Grace Street on the report of an argument. Ryan A. Young, 23, of Medical Lake was arrested on three outstanding warrants.
