Cheney holds second annual Moonlight Golf Tournament

The Cheney Recreation Department will be hosting its second annual Moonlight Golf Tournament on Friday, Sept. 11, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Fairways at West Terrace. Moonlight golf is an absolute blast and all skill levels are welcome.

Registration is $40 per person or $160 for a team. The teams are coed and have a four-player maximum. Registration deadline is Friday, Aug. 28.  

The tournament will be a nine-hole scramble using only the moonlight and glow sticks. The event will include dinner, green fees and glow in the dark materials needed to play the game. 

There will be awards and prizes for the team with the best score as well as closest to pin and longest drive. 

Tournament proceeds go towards the recreation shuttle bus that allows Cheney Parks and Recreation to continue to provide transportation for senior, specialized recreation, Special Olympics and youth activities.
