Gabriella A. (Pat) Tiedt, a longtime resident of Cheney, Wash., passed away Aug. 6, 2009 at the age of 80. She was born Aug. 25, 1928 in Heppner, Ore. to Patrick and Agnes (Winkler) Doherty and lived in Siletz, Ore. and Pasco, Wash. before coming to Cheney in the 1950's.
Pat lived and worked in Cheney all her adult life. After her retirement she volunteered and managed the Cheney Clothing Bank for 20 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Pat is survived by her husband, Orval Tiedt of Cheney, sons, Clifford (Jane) Tiedt of Cheney, and Bradford Tiedt of Spokane, grandsons, Logan and Tyler Tiedt of Cheney and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug.15, at Cheney Funeral Chapel followed by a reception at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cheney. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane.
