CHENEY

June 7

Suspicious circumstances were reported on the zero hundred block of North Eighth Street; possible attempted burglary.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 2600 block of First Street when a credit card was stolen at Fish Lake and used in Cheney.

Discharge of a weapon in city limits was reported on the 400 block of Simpson Parkway.

Second-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of south Cheney-Spangle Road when a bicycle was stolen, which was later recovered.

Second-degree theft was reported on the 400 block of Fifth Street when a television was taken from a renter's room.

A silver bicycle was found on the 300 block of Erie Street.

Fourth-degree assault was reported on the 400 block of First Street.

A vehicle theft was reported on the 200 block of south Cheney-Spangle Road on May 23. The vehicle was returned the next day, but the vehicle's owner has decided to press charges.

June 6

A purse was found on the 300 block of Fifth Street.

A two-car, non-injury collision was reported on the zero hundred block of North Sixth Street.

June 5

Violation of a court order (no contact) was reported on the 700 block of West First Street.

Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 1000 block of Salnave Road. A white male in his 20s driving a white car was believed to be trying to lure a child.

Kenneth C. Paradiso, 43, was arrested on the 700 block of Cedar Street on three a felony warrant from Asotin County stemming from a controlled substance violation.

Fighting/mutual combat was reported on the 1000 block of Second Street.

Abelino F. Ramirez, 23, was arrested on the 300 block of First Street for fourth-degree assault.

Jason P. Day, 32 was arrested on the 100 block of First Street for first-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS).

June 4

A purse was found on the 400 block of Second Street.

Carrie L.O. Flake, 19, was arrested at Safeway for third-degree theft/shoplifting when she was caught trying to remove various grocery items from the store.

A two-car, hit-and-run (unattended) collision was reported on the 200 block of Betz Road.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 300 block of Second Street when a white bicycle was taken.

June 3

Jessie A. L. Dolding, 30, was arrested on the 900 block of Summit Drive for first-degree theft when he was caught removing tools, a laptop computer, identification, a cell phone, a lawn mower and a weed whacker from a residence.

A paper service was requested at the Cheney Police Department in assistance in a child custody case.

Karen M. Orona, 30, was arrested on the 1500 block of Third Street on three felony warrants from Spokane, a warrant from Cheney Municipal Court and a Department of Corrections detainer.

A blue bicycle was found on the 1700 block of Second Street.

Kevin A. Broadnax, 20, was arrested at Cheney Municipal Court on an Airway Heights Municipal Court warrant for failure to comply with a court order stemming from a second-degree DWLS arrest.

June 2

Second-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 1400 block of Third Street when the back window of a vehicle was broken.

Domestic violence was reported on the 800 block of West First Street. Dispute was verbal only.

Fourth-degree assault was reported on the zero hundred block of First Street. Investigation is pending.

A two-car, non-injury collision was reported on the 200 block of First Street.

A 17-year-old male was arrested at Cheney High School for fourth-degree assault.

June 1

Robert R. Herbert, 43, was arrested on the zero hundred block of B Street for third-degree DWLS.

Third-degree theft was reported 1300 block of First Street when letters were taken from a sign.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the zero hundred block of A Street when a rock was thrown through the window of a residence.

MEDICAL LAKE

June 5

Received a report of a hit-and-run collision on the corner of Lake and Sherman Streets.

June 4

A paper service was completed in the 700 block of East Tara Lee Avenue.

Received a report of an argument in the 600 block of North Grant Street.

June 3

Received a report of a possible residential burglary in the 400 block of East Percival Street.

Mary J. Anderson, 55, of Spokane Valley was arrested in the area of Washington and Lake streets for third-degree DWLS.

A report was taken in regards to found property.

June 1

Informational report taken in the area of SR-902 and Washington.

Civil papers were served in the 800 block of East Collin Street.

Sonja M. Thomas, 33, of Spokane Valley was arrested in the area of Oak and Birch streets for third-degree DWLS.
