Washington Gov. Christine Greogire has decided not to call a special legislative session as previously planned with regard to the possibility of reducing the state's levy equalization funds, 9th District Rep. Joe Schmick said in a May 11 statement.
Reductions in the state's biennial budget indicated a $66 million shortfall for fully funded and voter approved levy equalization funds.
