May 18
A set of keys was found and turned in at the Cheney Police Department.
Vehicle prowling was reported on the 500 block of Second Street.
Brandon M. Collins, 26, was arrested on the 500 block of West Fifth Street for harassment.
A two-car collision with minor injuries was reported on the 700 block of Chestnut Street.
May 17
Second-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of south Cheney-Spangle Road when a laptop computer was stolen from an apartment.
Domestic violence was reported on the zero hundred block of Columbia Street. Dispute was verbal only.
Aaron J. Cartwright, 22, was arrested on the 900 block of First Street for fourth-degree assault.
Second-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 500 block of First Street when the window of a business was broken.
Inocencio Carranza-Maldonado, 30, was arrested on the 2200 block of First Street for fourth-degree assault.
May 16
Suspicious circumstances were reported at Safeway when a vehicle was reportedly driving at high speed in the parking lot. The driver was contacted.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 200 block of Betz Road when a vehicle was keyed.
Fourth-degree assault was reported on the 200 block of south Cheney-Spangle Road.
Angela C. Tilley, 20, was arrested on the 200 block of Third Street for minor in possession (MIP).
May 15
Lindsey N. Kinney, 20, was taken into custody at Cheney Municipal Court on a local warrant for failure to comply with a court order.
May 14
Forgery was reported on the 1500 block of Ridgeview Drive.
Danielle K. White, 21, was arrested at SR-904 and Graham Road for failure to obey a police officer.
A backpack, a cell phone and an iPod were found at Cheney Middle School.
May 13
A Washington driver's license was found on the zero hundred block of Washington Street.
A set of keys was found on the 700 block of First Street.
Agency assistance was requested by the Colorado Springs, Colo. Police Department in locating a stolen U-haul. It had been turned in at a Cheney business.
Sean R. Turple, 31, was arrested on the 3000 block of First Street on a felony warrant from Klickitat County, Wash., for failure to appear stemming from an arrest for possession of methamphetamine and third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS).
A “peeping Tom” was reported on the 2200 block of First Street
Mica A. Franz, 28, was arrested on the 100 block of Washington Street for third-degree DWLS, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
May 12
Domestic violence was reported on the 1200 block of First Street. Dispute was verbal only.
A vicious animal was reported on the 2200 block of Sunrise Drive on an incident that started on April 18 when a dog attacked another animal.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 2400 block of University Lane when a Tablet PC was taken from a vehicle.
May 11
A red bicycle was found on the 100 block of A Street.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 100 block of North Ninth Street when a stereo, speakers and a woofer were taken from a vehicle.
MEDICAL LAKE
May 17
Received a report of a possible residential burglar in the 300 block of East Barker Street.
May 16
Officers responded to the 900 block of North Minnie on the report of a possible incident involving domestic violence. During the investigation, marijuana was found in the residence. Jessica M. Stevens, 27, and Ryan R. Stevens, 29, of Medical Lake were arrested for manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
May 15
An officer was dispatched to the 200 block of North Lefevre Street on the report of a verbal dispute.
Received a report of residential burglary in the 400 block of East Barker Street.
May 12
A juvenile female was arrested for MIP in the 100 block of West Third Street.
Received a referral regarding a possible child abuse and/or neglect.
A report of a juvenile problem was received via telephone.
Received a report of a malicious mischief in the 100 block of East Ladd Street.
