Master stylist, Glen Dow instructor joins crew at Wispies Salon

Being a master stylist is one thing.

Teaching a roomful of young, ambitious 20-something women how to make a living at it is a bit more challenging if you ask Wispies Salon's newest chair, Debi Hancock, a three-year educator at Spokane's Glen Dow Academy.

Recently moved to Medical Lake and still teaching on the side at Glen Dow, the newlywed Hancock might look familiar to some people. She's the former manager of Fairchild Air Force Base's beauty salon, where she worked about eight years as Debi Norman before going back to school for a teaching license.
