Feb. 5

Domestic violence was reported on the 500 block of Villard Street. Dispute was verbal only.

Ryan P. Murphy, 22, was taken into custody at Cheney Municipal Court on a bench warrant stemming from a probation violation.

Feb. 4

Domestic violence was reported on the 2300 block of University Lane. Dispute was verbal only.

Unlawful issuance of bank checks was reported at Mitchell's Harvest Foods. Investigation is pending.

A two-car, non-injury collision was reported on the 1700 block of Second Street.

An unattended hit-and-run was reported on the zero hundred block of Third Street.

Michael D. Choul, 26, was arrested on the 2400 block of University Lane for four-degree assault.

A one-car, pedestrian accident with injuries happened on the 2400 block of First Street.

Feb. 3

A 14-year-old female was arrested at Cheney Middle School for fourth-degree assault.

Feb. 2

Robert W. Peterson, 18, was arrested on the 300 block of Betz Road for third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS).

Phone harassment was reported on the 1600 block of Fourth Street. Incident is being investigated as a possible violation of a no contact order violation.

A no contact order violation was reported on the zero hundred block of B Street. Incident is under investigation.

Suspicious circumstances were reported on an incident that happened on Nov. 23 on the 1000 block of First Street when a broadcast media company reported that privileged information might have been compromised.

A two-car, non-injury collision was reported on the 1000 block of Salnave Road when a bus hit a parked car.

Feb. 1

A vicious animal was reported on the 2200 block of First Street. Situation was referred to Spokane County animal control officer.

Troy D. Crozier, 38, was arrested on the 100 block of West First Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence. Crista M. Gladwill, 34, was also arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).

A blue bicycle was found on the 700 block of First Street.

Fourth degree assault was reported on the 100 block of North Ninth Street.

Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 200 block of south Cheney-Spangle Road when an abandoned case of beer was found.

Second-degree theft was reported on the 2900 block of Normal Park Road when an iPod was taken from a vehicle.

Jan. 31

Second-degree theft was reported on the 900 block of First Street when a Blackberry was taken from a vehicle.

Residential burglary was reported on the 2400 block of University Lane. An iPod, a game console, cameras and credit cards were taken.

Jan. 30

Three 16-year-old males were arrested on the 400 block of Leinum Court for residential burglary.

Identity theft was reported on the 100 block of North Fifth Street.

A Cheney business owner requested Police inform an individual of being trespassed from the business owner's property. The individual was contacted.

An unattended hit-and-run was reported on the 200 block of Simpson Parkway.

A 13-year-old male was arrested at Cheney Middle School for fourth-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

Feb. 1

Benjamin K. Blazovich, 21, of Medical Lake was arrested in the area of Barker and Washington for third-degree DWLS.

Jan. 31

Officers were dispatched to a possible domestic violence call in the 9000 block of west 72nd Avenue.

Jan. 30

Korey A. Sammons, 28, of Medical Lake was arrested in the area of Brooks and Lefevre for third-degree DWLS.

Jan. 28

Aleasha A. Hodgson, 34, of Spokane was arrested in the area of Lefevre and Fourth for third-degree DWLS.

Jan. 27

A juvenile runaway was reported from the 500 block of east Campbell Street.

Jan. 26

A possible harassment was reported in the 800 block of west Maple Street.

AIRWAY HEIGHTS

Feb. 7

Officers responded to a non-injury collision at Lundstrom Street and Sunset Highway.

Police investigated a report of a suspicious person in the 12500 block of 11th Avenue.

A report of a stolen vehicle was taken by officers in the 100 block of north Hayford Road.

Officers checked on a report of juveniles playing near dump trucks in the 13700 block of 12th Avenue.

A report of malicious mischief was investigated by officers in the 1600 block of Campbell Street.

Officers were called to the 100 block of North Hayford Road for an unwanted guest.

Police assisted Spokane County Sheriff's Ooffice deputies with arresting a male trespassed three times from the area of 10400 Highway 2. He was booked into jail.

Officers investigated a report of harassment in the 1600 block of Campbell Street.

Police assisted SCSO deputies in the 1600 block of Lewis Street on a person with a weapon call.

Officers contacted a vehicle parked in the roadway at 8th Avenue and King Street.

A suspicious vehicle at 8th Court and Aspen was contacted by officers.

SCSO Deputies requested assistance on a burglary call in the 1600 block of Deer Heights Road.

Bert T. Aikins, 54, was arrested at Sunset Highway and Hayford Road for third-degree DWLS.

Van Horne, Travis J. 33, was arrested for third-degree DWLS at Campbell Street and 13th Avenue.

A suspicious vehicle was contacted by officers in the area of Sunset Highway and Ziegler Street. The driver sleeping in the vehicle was given a ride home.

Feb. 6

Police assisted Child Protective Services in the 12500 block of 19th Avenue.

A burglary in the 1900 block of Campbell Street was investigated by officers.

Officers responded to a report of a possible rolling domestic violence in the area of 19th and Lawson Street. After contacting the parties it was found to be a civil matter.

Police assisted SCSO deputies by contacting an intoxicated male in the 10400 block of Highway 2. He was trespassed from the surrounding businesses and parking lot.

A report of malicious mischief to a motor home was investigated by officers in the 12000 block of 21st Avenue.

Officers were called to 13700 block of Sunset Highway for the theft of a case of beer.

A report of loud music was investigated by officers in the 2000 block of Craig Road. The subject was contacted and the music turned down.

Police contacted a suspicious vehicle left running in the 100 block of north Hayford Road.

Robert M. Hasley, 27, was arrested at 21st Avenue and Lawson Street for DWLS out of the state of Texas.

Police were called to 12400 block of 6th Avenue to take a burglary report.

Patrick B. Holten, 43, was arrested at Sunset Highway and Hayford Road on two Spokane District Court warrants for negligent driving and third-degree DWLS from Oregon.

Teresa J. Busby, 47, was arrested at Sprague Avenue and Hayford Road for third-degree DWLS.

Officers responded to the 12400 block of Meadow Court for a domestic dispute.

Feb. 5

Officers investigated a report of a male driving a 4-wheeler in area north of Sunset Highway and King Street. The vehicle was contacted and was riding on private property.

Aleksandr V. Peregudov, 23, was arrested for third-degree DWLS at 6th Avenue and Lawson Street.

Benjamin L. Ortiz, 22, was booked into jail for violating a domestic violence - no contact order in the 500 block of Easy Street.

A report of three males yelling and pounding on residence doors in the area of 1800 Pogue was investigated by officers.

Officers responded to the 2000 block of Craig Road for a fight in progress.

Joseph A. Gariepy, 38, was contacted in the 100 block of north Hayford Road and booked into jail on five warrants first-degree stolen property, second-degree stolen property, second-degree malicious mischief, and second-degree assault.

Stephen G. Girdner, 25, was booked into jail on the charge of second-degree theft in the 13400 block of Sunset Highway after a short foot pursuit.

John A. Campisi, 43, was arrested at Sunset Highway and Garfield Road for third-degree DWLS and third-degree possession of stolen property.

Barbara A. Jackson, 49, was arrested for third-degree DWLS at Sprague Avenue and Hayford Road.

Feb. 4

Police responded to a report of an argument at Sunset Highway and Hayford Road.

Anaka R. Farrand, 39, was booked into jail for a misdemeanor warrant for third-degree theft.

A welfare check was requested in the 12500 block of Tower Avenue.

Officers investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle that was supposedly selling vacuum cleaners, but did not stop at other residences in the neighborhood.

Rose L. Revais, 46, was arrested in the area of Sunset Highway and Hayford Road for third-degree DWLS.

Police were called to the 900 block of Avalon to investigate suspicious circumstances.

Feb. 3

Officers were asked to do a welfare check on a possible suicidal subject in the 900 block of Ziegler Street. Everything was OK.

Police investigated a report of a hit-and-run collision in the area of 12th Avenue and Lawson Street.

Officers investigated a report of a package stolen in the 1500 block of Mullen and a gift card from the package being used at a local store.

Child Protective Services requested officers to assist them in the 1900 block of Lawson Street.

Police investigated a report of an assault that occurred in the 11900 block of Sprague Avenue.

Officers responded to a report of juveniles playing in and around a vacant trailer in the 1900 block of Mintle Street.

Police assisted Airway Heights Fire Department with a juvenile from Sunset Elementary whose foot was stuck in a snow berm.

Officers checked the welfare of a group of young children walking home from the library at night.

A commercial alarm was investigated by officers in the 12700 block of Sunset Highway.

A juvenile shoplifter was contacted by officers in the 12800 block of 14th Avenue. A report to be sent to the juvenile court and the shoplifter was given a ride home and turned over to parents.

Officers responded to the 1700 block of Lawson Street for a possible suicidal subject.

A suspicious vehicle at Sprague Avenue and Hayford Road was contacted by officers.

Officers assisted SCSO deputies on a domestic violence call in the 3700 block of Geiger Boulavard.

Feb. 2

Police responded to the area of 700 Horton Street for a 911 hang-up call. It was discovered to be a child playing with the telephone.

Officers were requested in the area of 1400 Albert Street for a welfare check. The subject in question was contacted and everything was OK.

A report of a reckless driver in the area of 18th Avenue and Lawson Street was investigated by officers.

Police contacted a suspicious vehicle in the area of 20th Avenue and Lundstrom Street.

Officers assisted MLPD officers on serving a felony warrant in the 300 block of east Barker Street.

A possible suicidal subject was contacted by officers in the 13300 block of Sunset Highway and again in the 900 block of Ziegler Street.

Police investigated an alarm in the 12400 block of 8th Avenue. An improper code was given by mistake.

A report of an assault in the 100 block of North Hayford Road was investigated by officers. It was discovered to have occurred out of jurisdiction in the area of Fort George Wright.

A bicyclist was contacted at Sunset Highway and Garfield Road for no lights on the bicycle at night.

Another bicyclist was contacted at Sunset Highway and Lyons Road for the same no lights on the bicycle at night.

Feb. 1

Officers assisted SCSO deputies on a suicidal subject in the 7000 block of south Craig Road.

SCSO Deputies requested assistance from officers on a person with a weapon call in the 1200 block of south Hayford Road.

Police were called to the 12600 block of 8th Avenue to take a report on two bicycles stolen from the front porch.

An alarm was investigated by officers in the 2200 block of Garfield Road. The building was secure.

Douglas L. McSpadden, 55, was booked into jail on a Spokane County District Court warrant for third-degree DWLS.

Matthew A. Green, 39, was booked into jail on the charge of fourth degree assault/domestic violence in the 1800 block of Mintle Street.

An intoxicated subject was trespassed from a business in the area of 13100 block of 14th Avenue.

Lodai D. McSpadden, 30, was booked into jail on the charge of fourth degree-assault-domestic violence and third-degree malicious mischief/domestic violence in the 1800 block of Mintle Street.

Leland W. Guthrie, 46, was booked into jail on the charge of fourth degree-assault/domestic violence in the 1800 block of Mintle Street.
