Edgar Montoya-Cedillo, 19; Hector Ledezma, 19, and Jacob H. Christensen, 19, were all arrested for failure to cooperate with an investigation stemming from a noise complaint.

Possible counterfeit currency was reported on the 600 block of West First Street.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 300 block of College Avenue when snowboards were taken from a residence.
Nicholas R. Davis, 19, was arrested at Safeway for third-degree theft/shoplifting when he was caught taking food from the store.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 100 block of Pineview Place when clothes, a wallet and cash were taken from a vehicle. Other vehicles were prowled in the area also.
Third-degree theft was reported at Cheney High School when an Mp3 player was taken.
A litter of kittens were abandoned on the 500 block of Salnave Road.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 3100 block of Silverthorn Lane when prescription drugs, clothes, tools and a pair of sunglasses were taken from a residence.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 100 block of Walker Drive when a radar detector, wallet and an iPod were taken from a vehicle.
Karen R. Shantler, 50, was arrested on the zero hundred block of Washington Court for trespassing and obstructing a public officer.
Jan. 28
Residential burglary was reported on the 3200 block of Thistle Creek Lane. A laptop computer was taken.
Fighting/mutual combat was reported at Cheney High school. Incident was handled internally.
An unattended hit-and-run was reported on the zero hundred block of Erie Street.

Ryan E. Wilson, 20, was arrested on the 2300 block of Washington Street for minor in possession (MIP).
Possible financial fraud was reported on the 400 block of First Street when a possibly forged check was discovered.
Phone harassment was reported on the 200 block of K Street.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 100 block of G Street when graffiti was discovered at a business.
Third-degree theft was reported at Cheney High School when an Mp3 player was taken.

A possible child abuse was reported on the 100 block of North Fifth Street. Investigation is pending.
Eddie L. Goolsby, 49, was arrested on the 800 block of First Street for third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS).
Fourth-degree assault was reported on the 400 block of First Street.
A vehicle registration was found. The document was turned in at Cheney Police Department.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 2200 block of Annie Place. A wallet was taken from a vehicle.
A possible child abuse was reported on the 200 block of Ash Street. Investigation is pending.

Steven D. Cork, 42, was arrested on the zero hundred block of B Street for second-degree assault and felony violation of a court order. He was also wanted on a warrant from Spokane for felony escape. Mary J. Hill, 47, was also arrested on two warrants from Spokane.
Second-degree rape was reported on the 2200 block of First Street. Additional charges are pending investigation.
Alexander J. Holst, 19, was arrested on the 600 block of Third Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence and MIP.
Jan. 24
Rachel A. Ferguson, 22, was arrested for trespassing on the 200 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road.
A debit card and a Quest card were found on the 300 block of North Seventh Street.
Enrique Hernandez, 19, was arrested on the 900 block of Second Street for driving under the influence (DUI).
Third-degree theft was reported on the 300 block of First Street when some winter coats and keys were taken from a business.
Fourth-degree assault was reported on the 300 block of Fourth Street.
Taylor M. Cox, 18, was arrested on the 1200 block of Second Street for MIP.

A marijuana pipe and tobacco were found on the 100 block of Second Street.
A local resident reported being sexually assaulted in Sandpoint, Idaho.
Second-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 300 block of Fourth Street when a window in a residence was broken.

An officer initiated a traffic stop in the area of Barker and Washington. Benjamin K. Blazovich, 21, of Medical Lake was arrested for third-degree DWLS.

Officers were dispatched to a possible domestic violence call in the 9000 block of West 72nd Avenue.
Jan. 30
An officer initiated a traffic stop in the area of Brooks and Lefevre. Korey A. Sammons, 28, of Medical Lake was arrested for third-degree DWLS.
Jan. 28
An officer initiated a traffic stop in the area of Lefevre and Fourth. Aleasha A. Hodgson, 34, of Spokane was arrested for third-degree DWLS.

Officers responded to the area of 13500 6th Avenue on a possible domestic violence. Everything was OK.
Joseph L. Castanga, 26, was arrested at Hayford Road and Sunset Highway on the charge of second-degree DWLS.
Donald G. Young, 54, was booked into jail on a warrant from Spokane Municipal Court for third-degree DWLS. He was contacted on a traffic stop at 12th Avenue and Beeman Street.
Officers responded to the area of 800 Aspen on a noise complaint.
Joshua M. Moses, 26, was booked into jail on charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance (meth) after being contacted by officers at Sunset Highway and Hayford Road.
Officers assisted Spokane County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) deputies with a suicidal subject in the area of 13000 North Craig Road.

Police recovered a vehicle that was reported stolen in Spokane in the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
Garrett A. Green, 26, was arrested at 15th Avenue and Lawson Street for third-degree DWLS.
Officers assisted SCSO deputies on a suspicious person call in the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.
Police responded to the 12500 block of 19th Avenue for a civil standby.
Jessica R. Hime, 28, was booked into jail on a Spokane warrant for fourth-degree assault. She was contacted in the 12500 block of 19th Avenue.
SCSO deputies requested officers to assist serving a felony warrant in the 8500 block of West Mission Road.
Officers responded to the area of 2000 South Craig Road for an intoxicated subject.
Police investigated a report of a possible no contact order violation in the area of 1400 Albert Street.
Officers investigated a report of a subject trying to break into vehicles parked in the area of Sunset Highway and Garfield Road.
Jevar L. Bailey, 20, was booked into jail on the charge of fourth-degree assault for domestic violence that occurred in the 600 block of King Street.
Heidi J. Van Hersett, 30, was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the area of Sunset Highway and Hayford Road.
Mark A. McElfish, 45, was arrested in the area of Sunset Highway and Hayford Road for third-degree DWLS.
Heidi K. Perez, 45, was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the area of Hayford Road and Sunset Highway.

Officers assisted SCSO deputies on a possible domestic violence call in the 10600 block of 12th Avenue.
Police were called to the 1600 block of Campbell Street on a possible child rape that occurred in Spokane.
Tracie E. Paulsen, 30, was arrested for third-degree DWLS at Garfield Road and Sunset Highway.
Officers assisted SCSO on a report of a counterfeit bill in the 1200 block of South Hayford Road with the suspect still on site.
Police contacted a delivery driver in the area of 12600 Sunset Highway regarding parking in disabled parking stalls.
A report of a subject trying to open vehicle doors in a parking lot at 12th Avenue and King Street was investigated by officers. The subject was contacted and was looking for a lost item and was OK to be there.
Officers checked on a couple of suspicious vehicles in the area of 100 North Hayford Road.
Police assisted SCSO deputies in contacting a subject with warrants in the 4800 block of North Hayford Road.
Celia A. Hendricks, 25, was arrested in the area of Sprague Avenue and Hayford Road for third-degree DWLS on a South Carolina driver’s license.
Robert A. Wheeler, 48, was arrested for third-degree DWLS at Sprague Avenue and Hayford Road. He was booked into jail on a felony warrant from Benton County Superior Court for non-compliance regarding possession of stolen property second-degree charges.
Gary D. Cable, 41, was arrested in the area of Sprague Avenue and Hayford Road for third-degree DWLS.
Officers investigated a report of a purse stolen from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
Jan. 28
Joseph R. Leslie, 23, was booked into jail on a felony warrant from Spokane Superior Court for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. He was contacted in the 1500 block of South Craig Road.
Officers made arrangements to remove some furniture in the roadway at 10th Avenue and Lundstrom Street.
Joshua A. Thompson, 18, was arrested for reckless driving that resulted in a one-vehicle accident in the area of Lawson Street and McFarlane Road.
Benjamin L. Oritz, 22, was booked into jail for violating a domestic violence order of protection in the 500 block of Easy Street.
Officers were called to check the welfare of a subject in the area of 13500 13th Avenue.
Police investigated a report of a theft in the 12800 block of 19th Avenue. It was unfounded.
A report of juveniles placing a park bench in the roadway at 18th Avenue and Campbell Road was investigated by officers.
Police were sent to the 1400 block of Albert Street to check the welfare of residents on a 911 call placed by a child. Everything was OK.
Earl W. Jenkins, 59, was arrested in the 100 block of North Hayford Road for third-degree DWLS.
