Comp plan amendment request for Silver Hills phase 2

On Sept. 25, Medical Lake Planning Commission reviewed several amendments being proposed to the city's comprehensive plan for 2008.

Comprehensive plans are revisited once a year to grant amendments to the current plan, and this year the city received a total of three.

Proposals include a rezoning to a property located off of Hallett Street slated for the second phase of the Silver Hills West subdivision, a statement amending the commissions decision to eliminate the city's urban growth area, and adding a chapter for the newly revised shoreline management plan.
