Following the direction of comments taken from Betz Park meetings, playgrounds at some Cheney parks will have a new look as some of the existing equipment has become outdated and no longer meet safety standards.
Pending City Council approval of the $145,000 project, Cheney Parks and Recreation director Paul Simmons said the decision to install the new equipment comes from two sources.
