Silver Lake residents begin to combat milfoil - seeks funding

All property owners around Silver Lake are being encouraged to attend a March 18 public meeting organized by a local steering committee comprised of 15 property owners, who are heading ongoing management efforts to eradicate the lake of Eurasian milfoil.

The meeting is open to all lake property owners and other people interested in hearing updates about the eradication effort and what residents must do to acquire the grant funding they need for initial treatments to the lake.
