With Spokane being their second home, Colfax residents Darrell and Marilyn Bafus recently recognized the growth happening in the West Plains area and pegged it as the place to locate their new business, Geiger Grove Self Storage.
Darrell Bafus, a semi-retired fourth-generation wheat farmer, said this is he and his wife's first entrepreneurial venture.
“There's real potential for residential development in this area, and we felt this business would lend itself well to that, so we pursued that endeavor,” Bafus said of Geiger Grove, which opened last month.
