David Danilson of Rosalia, Wash., will be appearing on “Turkey Call,” a hunting series produced by the National Wild Turkey Federation.
The show will air on The Outdoor Channel on the following dates: Monday, Dec. 24, at 2 p.m. (EST), Tuesday, Dec. 25, at 7 a.m. (EST), Thursday, Dec. 27, at 7 p.m. (EST).
Danilson, the NWTF Washington regional director, joins Washington state chapter treasurer Dave Braaten and NWTF chief operating officer Carl Brown for a Merriam's hunt.
They're at Powder River Outfitters in Montana, where there's great hunting, great wildlife, spectacular scenery, and more Merriam's gobbling than one show should be allowed to have.
Great hunting action plays a major roll in each episode of “Turkey Call” now in its ninth year.
The show features stories of conservation, preserving the country's hunting heritage and introducing youth, women and people with disabilities to many outdoor activities, including hunting.
“Turkey Call” takes viewers across the nation in pursuit of wild turkeys, and inside of the NWTF's outreach programs, highlighting the people who enjoy hunting and fishing.
Viewers can also join the NWTF's volunteers, partners and friends as they work together to improve wild turkey habitat and celebrate North America's rich hunting traditions.
