Medicinal aloe comes in many varieties

One of the best known succulents is the “ALOE VERA,” which is also known as the “medicinal plant” most often used for burns. Many of the lotions and other cosmetics list aloe vera as an ingredient.

Since I “mess around the kitchen range” a lot, we have an aloe plant close by.

Get a burn, rinse the burn in cold water and break off a leaf of aloe, squeeze out the sticky juice and put it on the burn.

This is for MINOR BURNS, not major burns that blister like crazy immediately--these you get to the doctor or emergency room right away.
