Wireworm damage to grain crops has increased in recent years, especially under conservation tillage systems.
Washington State University Extension and the Lincoln County Conservation District invite farmers to a workshop on wireworm management on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Davenport's Memorial Hall, 511 Park St., from 8-10 a.m.
Farmers and researchers will discuss their work and experiences with wireworm.
Featured speakers include Dave Bragg from WSU Extension, Nate Andersen from Bayer Crop Science, and Mark Sheffels, who farms in the Wilbur and Davenport areas.
