Cheney baseball meeting Nov. 13

Cheney team plays for football title

The Cheney 5th-6th grade YMCA Grid Kids Football team coached by Kip Sims, Dave Arthur and Scott Zieman, is competing in the Greater Spokane championship game this Saturday Oct. 27 at Joe Albi Stadium at 5:45 p.m.

The team has a 6-1 record and has earned a berth in the championship game two years in a row. Admission is free and we invite you to cheer the future of Cheney football on to a victory over Central Valley.

EWU sponsors harvest carnival Oct. 31

Eastern Washington University is holding its annual Harvest Carnival and Tours next Wednesday, Oct. 31. The event is for kids up through fifth grade. Costumes are encouraged.

Tours leave from the Pence Union Building's first floor atrium just outside the bookstore from between 3:30-4 p.m. The carnival takes place from 4-5 p.m. in the PUB multi-purpose room. Please call 359-2371 for more information.

ML Kiwanis host Halloween party

Medical Lake Kiwanis is hosting its annual Halloween party Oct. 31, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Medical Lake Elementary School. Admission is free to all children ages 1-12. The party includes lots of games, candy, cookies, apple juice, a haunted house and lots of fun. For more information, call 299-5478.
