An agency assist was requested by Washington State Patrol (WSP).
Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 1200 block of First Street. The problem was a landlord/tenant dispute.
A report of second-degree malicious mischief was made on the 200 block of Second Street. The window of a vehicle was broken.
A report of second-degree theft was made on the 300 block of Erie Street. A gray bicycle was stolen.
Carlos Hurley, 21, was arrested on the 2300 block of Washington Street for driving under the influence (DUI).
A report of fourth-degree assault was made on the 300 block of First Street. No one is pursuing charges.
Ezra A. Ifie was arrested on the 800 block of Chestnut for obstructing a public servant. Kyle B. Osborne, 20, and Jeffery L. Osborne, 24, were both arrested for second-degree assault.
Oct. 4
Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 600 block of Salnave Road. The subject was considered mentally ill and was taken to the hospital.
A 15-year-old male was reported as a runaway. Subject was found and returned.
A 15-year-old female was arrested for harassment at Cheney High School.
A deer-car accident occurred on SR-904 at milepost 6. A request for agency assistance was made to WSP. No injuries were reported.

A 17-year-old female was arrested for fourth-degree assault at Cheney High School.

Nicholas R. Maher, 20, was arrested at the 2300 block of First Street for third-degree driving while license is suspended(DWLS).
A report of a hit and run – unattended was made on the 1300 block of First Street.
A report of second-degree theft was made at Safeway. A silver bicycle was stolen.
Suspicious Circumstances were reported on the 200 block of Simpson Parkway. A baggie of suspected drugs was found in the parking lot.
Sharanbir S. Grewal, 19, was arrested on the 1000 block of Second Street for urinating in public.

Adam L. Rairdan, 18, was arrested on the 1000 block of Second Street for minor in possession of alcohol (MIP) and obstructing an officer. Also arrested were Cory D. Martin, 18, and Jason S. Frost, 18, both for MIP
John P. Smethurst, 20, was arrested on the 1700 block of Fourth Street for DUI and second-degree DWLS.
An agency assist was requested at Cheney High School to assist in contacting a runaway.
Brandy J. Chase, 27, was arrested on the 100 block of Cheney-Spangle Road for third-degree DWLS.
A warrant arrest was made at the Cheney Police station. Maxam M. Wilson, 21, was taken into custody when officers discovered the warrant stemming from an MIP arrest.
Sept. 30
Mekelle, Montour, 18, was arrested at Safeway for furnishing alcohol to a minor. Also arrested was Matthew A. Avey, 19, for third-degree theft (stealing beer) and MIP.
A report of harassing phone calls was made at the 700 block of West First Street.
A 15-year-old female was arrested for residential burglary at the 1300 block of First Street.
A report of second-degree malicious mischief was made at the 800 block of Al Ogdon Way. Damage to a front door was discovered.
A sudden death was reported on 1200 block of Pineview Street. The cause of death was determined as natural causes.
A civil standby was requested on the 1500 block of Fourth Street.
Preston D. Jones, 20, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) on the zero hundred block of “A” Street.
A report of fighting-mutual combat was made at the 400 block of Fifth Street.
Matthew E. Knight, 18, Alexander C. Edgmond, 18, and Kyle C. Cady, 19, were arrested for MIP at the 200 block of North Eleventh Street.
Sept. 29
Matthew B. Grainger, 20, was arrested at TAJ Groceries for second-degree robbery (use of force to retain stolen merchandise).
A hit-and-run accident was reported on the 2700 block First Street.
A burgundy bicycle was found on the 200 block of K Street
A report of domestic violence was reported on the 100 block of College Hill. Dispute was verbal.
Kellie A. Minney, 21, was arrested on the 900 block of First Street for third-degree DWLS.
Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 100 block of North Ninth Street. An attempted theft was made on a real estate sign.
Sept. 28
Ryan P. Murphy, 20, was arrested on the 1100 block of First Street for DUI, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia.
Robbie D. Irving, 42, was arrested on the 700 block of West First Street for indecent liberties.
A 14-year-old male was arrested at Cheney High School for third-degree theft.

Kindra M. Jones, 31, was arrested for DUI, and third-degree DWLS in the area of SR-902 and Stanley Street.

A juvenile was arrested in the 200 block of East Barker Street.

A juvenile was arrested for malicious mischief in the area of Lefevre and Brooks.

Dennis G. Colwell, 61, of Medical Lake was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the 1400 block of West Fancher Road.
Obdulia M. Beniquez, 24, of Medical Lake was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the area of Hallett and Campbell Street.
Officers took a report of a juvenile runaway in the 800 block of North Howard Street.

MaryAnn A. Anderson, 47, of Moses Lake, Wash., was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the area of Craig and McFarlane.
Gloria J. Guimaraes, 36, of Medical Lake was arrested for fourth-degree assault (non-domestic violence) and furnishing liquor to minors in the area of Hallett and Barker.
AIRWAY HEIGHTS
Oct. 5
Police were called to Sunset Elementary School for a disorderly juvenile.
A burglary report was taken at 1900 South Mintle Street. Someone broke in and let the dogs out.
In the area of 12400 West 8th Avenue police were asked to speak to a juvenile about domestic violence.
Henry B. McCoy, 41, was arrested at West Highway 2 and South Hayford Road for first-degree DWLS.
Roger A. Wilbur, 45, was arrested at West Highway 2 and South Hayford Road also for a Department of Corrections warrant.
Officers investigated a report of a missing person at 1800 South Lawson Street. The missing person came home later in the day.
Police investigated a reckless driver at West Highway 2 and South Loffler Street.
Robert W. Beach II, 21, was arrested for DWLS (California).
A suspicious person was contacted in the McDonald's restaurant parking lot and given a courtesy transport to the bus station.
Officers were called to 13100 West Highway 2 for a suicidal subject. The suicidal subject was transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center.
Oct. 4
A suspicious person was contacted in the area of 6th West Avenue and South Garfield Road.
Officers were asked to do a welfare check in the area of 1700 South Lawson. Parties have moved.
Oct. 3
Christopher R. Harper, 26, was arrested for third-degree DWLS and no ignition interlock device at South Hayford Road and South Sprague Avenue.
Officers were called to investigate a suspicious circumstance at 13100 West 14th Avenue.
Police were called to the area of West 19th Avenue and South Lawson Street for the report of people smoking marijuana in a vehicle.
An unwanted guest was reported at 13500 West 6th Avenue. Officers removed the unwanted guest from the property.
Officers were called to 1900 South Mintle Street for an argument. Half of the argument left the residence for the evening.
Oct. 2
Police investigated a commercial alarm at 11400 West 21st Avenue. The building was searched and found to be secure.
The child custody dispute at 1900 South Mintle Street continued. The police were called and the male had left the area.
Officers responded to 100 North Hayford Road for an alarm. It was discovered to be a test.
Police and medics were called to 1700 South Lawson for an accidental overdose.
A welfare check was done at 1700 South Lawson. Everything was OK.
Officers contacted two juveniles acting suspiciously at West 6th Avenue and South Aspen Street.
Police were called to 13300 West 12th Avenue for a suicidal subject.
Oct. 1
Christopher D. Mayo, 33, was booked into jail on the charge of possession of controlled substance (cocaine) at 100 North Hayford Road.
Police were called to 1900 South Mintle Street for a child custody dispute.
Officers contacted three intoxicated subjects walking down the middle of the roadway at West 14th Avenue and South Campbell Street. One was in violation of the no alcohol condition of their probation. A report was forwarded to the probation officer.
A domestic dispute was investigated by officers at 1900 South Mintle Street. It was the parties of the previous child custody dispute. The male half was removed from the property.
Police investigated a suspicious vehicle parked at 10900 West Sunset Highway.
Officers were called to 1700 South Lawson to investigate malicious mischief done to a vehicle.
A minor in possession of alcohol was contacted at 1400 South Albert Street. The juvenile made suicidal statements and was transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center for an evaluation.
