CHENEY

Oct. 14

A report of domestic violence was reported on the 2300 block of University Lane. Dispute was verbal only.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 2200 block of First Street. The tires of a vehicle were slashed.

Ramiro Sanchez, 20, was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol (MIP).

Oct. 13

Ayesha M. Webb, 20, and James C. Johnson, 25, were both arrested for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 300 block of Nolan Brown Place when a red bicycle was stolen.

A report of domestic violence/harassment was made on the 700 block of West First Street.

Oct. 12

A 15-year-old male was reported as a runaway on the 700 block of West First Street. The juvenile was located in the Tri-cities by West Richland, Wash., police.

Suspicious circumstances were reported on the zero hundred block of West Second Street. A subject that was stated as possibly suicidal was discovered not to be suicidal.

Abel K. Gebrehiwet, 19, was arrested on the 700 block of Seventh Street for third-degree driving while license is suspended (DWLS).

First-degree theft was reported on the 900 block of Oakland Street. Musical instruments, a stereo, speakers, a trombone and a backpack were taken from a vehicle.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of North Fifth Street. A stereo and speakers were taken from a vehicle.

A wallet was reported lost on the 2600 block of Eton Lane.

On the 100 block of Pineview Place, two 16-year-old males were arrested for MIP. Also arrested for MIP were five 17-year-old males and five 17-year-old females. Another 17-year-old male was arrested for MIP and furnishing alcohol to minors.

Oct. 11

A report of domestic violence was reported on the 100 block of West Sixth Street. Dispute was verbal only.

A green bicycle was found at Cheney Trading Company.

A warrant arrest for another agency was made on the 6500 block of Nevada, in Spokane. Paul J. Baird, 43, was arrested on a felony warrant from Whitman County. Also arrested was Rebecca S. Rohwer, 42, on a felony warrant from Benton County. The two also face potential drug possession charges and local charges of unlawful issuance of bank checks.

Oct. 10

Second-degree theft was reported on the 2300 block of First Street. A wallet was stolen.

Oct. 9

A 13-year-old male was arrested as a runaway on the 100 block of Nolan Brown Place.

A 16-year-old female was arrested as a runaway on the 700 block of West First Street.

Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 500 block of First Street, for a possible stalking.

Items found at Cheney High School were three iPods, two MP3 players, a digital camera, headphones and speakers.

A two-car non-injury accident was reported on the 1000 block of Fourth Street.

Oct. 8

Suspicious circumstances were reported on the 700 block of Clover Street. Residents reported their screen door being opened while they were home. The individual left upon realization the house was occupied.

A license plate was found on the 1000 block of First Street.

Oct. 7

Threats were reported on the 700 block of West First Street. Investigation is still pending.

A report of third-degree theft was made on the 1800 Second Street. A yellow sign was stolen and later recovered.

A missing person was reported on the 1500 block of Second Street. Subject was later located.

A case involving mental illness was reported on the 200 block of Simpson Parkway. The subject voluntarily committed themselves to a hospital.

Oct. 6

Joshua J. Nettleton, 19, was arrested on the 2300 block of Washington Street for third-degree DWLS.

A bicycle was found on the 1000 block of Salnave Road.

A warrant arrest was made on the zero hundred block of Third Street. Samual J. Hoober, 23, was taken into custody for failure to appear from a DWLS arrest.

Daniel A. Faunce, 55, was arrested on the 300 block of First Street for third-degree DWLS.

MEDICAL LAKE

Oct. 14

Mark A. Al-Said, 24, of Spokane Valley was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) or drugs at SR-902 and Craig Road.

Oct. 12

Heather M. Smith, 22, of Medical Lake was arrested for third-degree (DWLS) at Lefevre and James.

Oct. 11

Officers received a report of a third-degree theft that occurred in the 200 block of east SR-902. A juvenile male was arrested on the above listed charge.

Oct. 9

David A. Guzman, 18, of Four Lakes was arrested on a felony warrant at Hallett and Barker.

Officers took a report of a juvenile runaway in the 400 block of South Legg Street.

Oct. 8

Stephen L. Colosky, 26, of Spokane was arrested for third-degree DWLS in the area of Stanley and SR-902.
